This book, written for those responsible for leading and planning Catholic rites, gave helpful overviews of important liturgical principles while exploring key pastoral concerns. The balance between the particular and the general, the immediate concern and the communal celebration, the call to adaptation and the essential historical roots which provide life and meaning was delicately maintained and respectfully held in reverent tension.
