Unlike The Bible in a Year Companions, which follow a daily format, this Study Guide is organized weekly, offering a broader and more flexible structure for prayer, reflection, and discussion. Whether you’re walking through the podcast on your own or with a small group, this guide helps you engage more deeply with Scripture and discover its enduring relevance for your life.
What you’ll find each week:
Opening and closing prayers from The Bible in a Year Guided prompts for deeper reflection on Scripture A practical challenge to live out God’s Word in your daily life A group activity to share faith and build community A saint’s feast day and example of holiness A note of hope rooted in God’s promises Prayer intentions inspired by the week’s readings Catechism connections linking Scripture to Church teaching A key Scripture verse to remember and meditate on Thought-provoking discussion questions for personal or group reflection
Thinking about this as an aide to my study... There are THREE Bible in a Year Companions and they aren't cheap, not to mention I don't think I need that much supplementary info. Also, this is set up in a weekly format v. daily which I like better, broader sweep.
