He ran the night before their wedding. She's been running ever since.
Wedding photographer Kate Sullivan has spent five years proving she's fine. Fine with the panic attacks. Fine being the overachieving sister everyone counts on. Fine that Lincoln St. James called off their wedding and disappeared.
She's not fine. But nobody needs to know that.
When her doctor orders a mandatory break, Kate retreats to charming Jonathon Island to help her family with the spring flower festival. Sun. Blossoms. No stress.
Then Lincoln walks back into her life.
The florist hired for the festival is the man who shattered her heart—and he's more gorgeous than ever. Worse? He's looking at her like he still loves her. Like he never stopped.
Lincoln knows he doesn't deserve a second chance. He panicked and ran, terrified of becoming his absent father. But Kate Sullivan was the best thing that ever happened to him, and he's spent five years regretting the night he let fear win.
Now, working side by side among blooming orchards and island magic, the feelings they buried come rushing back. But trust doesn't rebuild overnight—and some wounds run deeper than either of them knew.
Can a runaway groom prove he's finally ready to stay?
Find Me in the Blooms is a sweet Christian romance about second chances, forgiveness, and discovering that God's timing blooms exactly when it should. Perfect for fans of Denise Hunter, Becky Wade, and Hallmark spring movies.
"I can't wait to read more of the Prescott Family Romance series. [Dear Beth] is highly recommended for fans of inspirational contemporary romance, especially for readers who enjoy novels by authors such as Denise Hunter, Becky Wade, Melissa Tagg, and Susan May Warren." -Goodreads Reviewer
I love a good story, especially if it has a happy ending! From mountain adventures to Downton Abbey-esque romances, I firmly believe we could all use a little more inspirational and heart-warming tales to keep us up at night—tales that take us on far away (or not so distant) adventures and speak words of life and truth into our lives.

Now they are forced to work together in order to make this festival perfect. These two work together to pull off a spectacular flower festival and old feelings resurface. They each have their demons to work though. The author did a great job with dealing with such losses and heartbreak to healing. 5 star read for Sunrise Publishing.

🌷 characters who grapple with issues of identity and belonging. 🌷 characters who are in the season of becoming 🌷 fresh beginnings 🌷 deeper connections and amazing growth 🌷 heart-anchored storytelling with a light faith thread
Kate Sullivan came on the page with lots of baggage! She had a failed engagement, she’s taken mandatory medical leave, she feels like she’s never enough for her family, and apart from her twin, she struggles with connecting to her siblings. I enjoyed unpacking the ways in which belonging shaped her character development and arc.
Ironically, Lincoln St. James struggles with the identical issue. He broke off his engagement because he felt like his fiancée deserved more. His issues with his father certainly shaped his outlook.
On a whim, Kate offers to help her sister, not knowing that it’ll bring her into direct contact with Lincoln. Working together to make the Apple Blossom Festival a success will test them both. Can they make it work?
I loved the faith messages about (1) giving God permission to tear down our walls to build something so much better and more beautiful than we can imagine and (2) how God’s timing is rarely ours.
You’ll want this second-chance romance set in a small town and spotlighting forgiveness and belonging on your reading list! This story is beautifully written, deeply felt, and has a light faith thread that pulls everything together.
I was gifted this copy and was under no obligation to provide a review.
Reading this story gave me that first spring day feeling after a long cold winter - hope and an expectation of good things to come.
Kate and Lincoln had a complicated history and I appreciated that this story did not over complicate their reconnection. Sometimes I find romance stories too predictable and with the same misunderstanding type plot that keeps characters apart. But not with this story or this series. Yes there are issues which make the romance journey a bit more complicated, but the characters deal with these in a timely and mature fashion.
In this story, Kate and Lincoln also grew stronger individually, learning from their struggles and allowing it to shape them and take them on a journey to forgiveness.
I loved Ollie and Dani’s support in this story and Lincoln’s fear of spiders also added for a few LOL moments.
A sweet story of reconciliation among the fragrance of blooms.

Find Me in the Blooms, the second installment in the new season of the Jonathan Island series, focuses on Kate and Lincoln. They once were engaged before Lincoln ended things the night before their wedding. Now 5 years later, the two of them meet on Jonathan Island where Kate is in charge of the Apple Orchid Festival and Lincoln is the florist for the festival. Things are a bit tense and awkward between Kate and Lincoln. As the story unfolds, readers learn why Lincoln couldn't go through with their wedding. This story has family dynamics, second chances, great characters, and a wonderful storyline. Lincoln and Kate each has their own personal struggles. I received a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Jonathon Island is my new favorite literary destination! It’s full of new friends and old, and I so wish I could visit it for real.
Five years ago, Lincoln left Kate the night before their wedding with barely an explanation. Now they’re unexpectedly thrown together, forced to work side-by-side on the Apple Blossom Festival. The stakes are high for them both, professionally and personally, but their second-chance romance just might bloom right along with the flowers, if they can forgive one another for past hurts.
I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest review.
This book has a little bit of a slow start but quickly captured my attention!
I felt bad for Kate that she was left to manage the festival with short notice from her sister Dani. I loved how despite her anxiety, she tried to encourage others and do the hard things.
Lincoln was an amazing florist who had such a way with flowers but struggled interacting with people. I enjoyed that he had Felicity in his corner.
Thanks to Sunrise Publishing for the arc. The opinions are my own.
Adorable tale with romance, wonderful characters and a good plot. Return to Jonthan Island for Season 2 with all of your favorites and a few new faces. Enjoyed revisiting this beautiful island and it's residents. Definitely worth the read. This book was provided by Sunrise Publishing for me to read. The thoughts expressed here are my own opinions.
This is such a beautiful return to Jonathon Island. The Island and the people come alive on the pages and I felt as if I were there as well. Kate is a character who tugged at my heartstrings and I was rooting for her and her heart to heal and love.
