I am an Afro-Latina author. I have a deep love for all things fantasy and romance. I find joy in getting lost in captivating stories and savoring hot chais—when my children give me the chance.

I am privileged to say I was chosen to read a well advanced copy of this book on the street team! I’m esthetic, over the moon again! Atlas Avery has done it once again! Exceptional writing, continued world building, a great cast of characters who you will fall in love with!

The heirs and their loves are back and so much is happening in their realms. Is there going to an ascension to the throne? How about more fighting to keep the realms safe? Snark from Alexander (of course!!!) Intrigue, love and lots of romance!!! I couldn’t ask for more from my favorite characters!

If you’ve not read Rite of Fates or Rite of Ascension then get hopping!!! You’ll not want to miss out! 100 million stars out of 5!!!

This is the third book in the Rite of Fates series and is also my favourite! The pacing was perfect, as was the chapter length. I loved how there were multiple small storylines going on throughout, even though they may not have been the main plot line, they were beautifully handled and no less significant. Within this story there's love, pain, raw emotion, humour and growth, with dark and light themes. I really enjoy following the heirs in their development but also getting more of an insight into the old Gods ways. I love that you can feel how much the author cares for the story she's telling and the characters she's building, as well as valuing and implementing readers feedback.

This third installment pulls you deeper into the world of the gods, their politics, loyalties, betrayals, and the bonds forged through sacrifice and love.

The betrayal in this book will make you want to scream… but the revenge? Sweet and so satisfying.

What makes this series feel so fresh is the multiple main characters who all receive equal page time. Every perspective matters. Every storyline raises the stakes. And while I definitely have a favorite couple… we’ll keep that between us 🤫

The relationships built here are layered, raw, and deeply human. I cried. I cheered. I kicked my feet. I laughed out loud more than once. I felt everything.

If you love Greek mythology, found family, trials, banter, and romance that makes you feel everything, this series is for you.
