Steel I fix broken bikes, not broken hearts. That was the rule until Holly Mercer stumbled into my life. Her brother owes my MC money. I'm just the man sent to collect. Simple job. In and out. Then the bullets start flying, and suddenly I'm holding her against me on a fire escape while death hunts us below. One night in hiding becomes something more when she asks me to stay, to touch, to take what's never been given. Now the Iron Eagles are closing in, her brother's falling apart, and I'm caught between the club I've sworn loyalty to and the woman who's claimed my soul. They say the quiet ones are the most dangerous when pushed. They're about to find out just how far I'll go to protect what's mine.
The sixth installment in the gripping Savage Riders Motorcycle Club series, Steel’s Mercy delivers everything fans crave and more!
This novella is a treat for anyone who loves sizzling small-town romance with a dose of action and heart. Steel’s Mercy is short, sweet, and utterly addictive, featuring a compelling instalove story and a guaranteed happy ending. Whether you’re new to the Savage Riders MC world or a seasoned fan, you’ll find this book easy and thrilling to read on its own.
Steel is the perfect brooding hero—loyal, tough, and surprisingly tender. Sent to collect a debt, he finds himself instantly drawn to Holly and quickly becomes her protector when rival bikers threaten her safety. His rescue of Holly sets the tone for his journey from damaged mechanic to devoted lover, making him one of my favorite MC leads!
Holly is such a down-to-earth and lovable heroine. She’s hardworking, passionate, and fiercely loyal to her brother, sacrificing her own dreams to protect her family. Her chemistry with Steel is off the charts, creating a dynamic that is both heartwarming and exciting.
James, Holly’s troubled brother, adds real depth to the story with his struggles and mistakes, making the stakes feel urgent and real.
The rivalry between the Iron Eagles MC and Savage Riders MC injects a thrilling sense of danger and suspense, keeping you turning pages late into the night!
This novella is packed with excitement, romance, and heart. I loved every minute and am now dying to read the previous books in the series—it’s just that good!
The connection between Holly and Steel is perfection—they balance each other beautifully and truly want something meaningful together. The romance is heartfelt and spicy, and Zoey Rose’s writing is perfection with vibrant characters and emotional depth. This book delivers everything you could hope for in a motorcycle club romance.
Steel’s Mercy is an absolute must-read for fans of romance and adventure. I give it a well-deserved five stars—highly recommended!.

Steel lives by simple rules: fix bikes, collect debts, don’t get attached. Holly Mercer was never supposed to matter—she was just the sister of a man who owed the club money. A quick stop, a warning delivered, and he’d be gone. Except fate had other plans. When the Iron Eagles roll up guns blazing, everything changes in an instant. One moment Steel is there to collect, the next he’s shielding Holly with his body, dragging her—and her spiraling, self-destructive brother—out of a war zone and into the only place that can keep them alive.
From that moment on, the story never lets go.
Holly is surrounded by chaos: a brother drowning in his own mistakes, a club war she never asked to be part of, and a man who looks at her like she’s something worth protecting. Steel is quiet, controlled, and deadly when pushed—but with Holly, his rough edges soften in the most unexpected ways. Their connection builds in stolen moments, shared fear, and the kind of intimacy that only comes when tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.
What makes Steel’s Mercy hit so hard is the emotional contrast. The danger is real, the stakes are high, and yet in the middle of it all is a love that feels grounding and necessary. Steel doesn’t just protect Holly with his fists and his gun—he gives her steadiness, choice, and a safe place to land when everything else is falling apart.
Steel and Holly finding love in the midst of chaos feels raw, earned, and deeply satisfying. He’s fiercely loyal, quietly possessive, and all-in once he falls. She’s resilient, compassionate, and stronger than she realizes. Together, they balance each other in a world that’s anything but stable.
If you love MC romances with protective heroes, found family vibes, emotional intensity, and a romance forged under fire, Steel’s Mercy will sink its hooks into you and not let go. This is love with grit under its nails—and mercy at its core.

Steel's Mercy by Zoey Rose is the sixth title in the Savage Riders MC series and as a short instalove biker romance it is a good read for an afternoon curled up on the sofa. The the storyline was well crafted and paced with main characters Steel/Jacob, mechanic with the Savage Riders and Holly, brother to a man owing money to the MC, engaging. Steel and Holly are forced together when he arrives at Holly's apartment to collect money owed by brother James and they're ambushed by the rival MC gang. During the danger, mutual attraction surfaces and Steel feels the need to protect Holly from himself as much as the Iron Eagles. Desire simmers, chemistry sizzles and a deeper connection develops between Steel and Holly as the danger remains high. A good story with elements of found family, suspense and drama and some steamy and spicy scenes that kept me turning pages right through to their satisfying HEA.

His presence put her life in danger. Her presence put his heart on the line. They were opposite as night and day. She a caretaker who had abandoned her dreams to clean up after her wayward brother. Steel's a quiet mechanic who keeps his head down and keeps the MC "running" smoothly. James, Holly's brother, is in big to practically everyone, but now they're under the Savage King's protection for better or worse. (Worse as far as James is concernes.) Holly and Steel find a connection through the madness, but will her naivete and youth spell the end before it really begins? This is a fast paced MC romance that's heavy on the romance. It's well written, but I missed more of the MC action - not that it wasn't good. Hopefully you know what I mean.

Another great read in the Savage Rider MC series This was a fantastic MC romance that gripped me from the start! The story follows Steel (Jacob), a mechanic for the Savage Riders, and Holly, whose life is turned upside down when Steel shows up to collect her brother’s debt.
The chemistry between them is electric, especially after a rival gang ambush forces them into a high-stakes "forced proximity" situation. I loved the tension of Steel trying to protect Holly from the Iron Eagles while wrestling with his own feelings for her. It’s a perfect blend of found family as the Savage Riders rally around them and strength as Steele faces his own past
If you love a protective, morally grey hero and a fast-paced plot that leads to a very satisfying HEA, don't miss this one!
Short story with plenty of action and chemistry. Steel, the MC’s mechanic, gets pulled into collections when Holly’s brother racks up serious gambling debt with the club. What starts as a routine job turns dangerous when a rival MC attacks Holly’s apartment while Steel is there.
For protection, Holly and her brother are taken to the clubhouse, where proximity and tension quickly spark something more between Steel and Holly. Fast-paced, protective MC vibes, and just the right amount of heat for a short read.

When Steel is sent to collect a debt from a low life he is met at the door by the sister who has done everything in her life to take care of a brother who only thinks of himself. That’s when the shooting starts putting all of their lives in danger. Steel now has to protect Holly and her brother and that’s when Steel and Holly feel a connection. With Vulture gunning for the club the trio go into hiding until the coast is clear.
I loved the epilogue in this book bringing everything together.
When Steel goes to collect a debt, he finds himself face to face with the sister of the man that owes it. And before they know it, bullets start to fly past them. He grabs her and hunkers down. As they sit and wait out the danger they start to connect with one another. And more he’s torn between her and the club. This was intense and dangerous. It was a great and steamy story. I really liked these two.
From gunfire and running for your life to finding yourself with a man that you have liked from afar. Family drama and hot chemistry and non- stop action makes for a really good read. This was so well-written and for being farther along in the series it still keeps you wanting to read it and not put it down. This is a must read!!
He was only there to collect a debt until gunfire has him standing between bullets and Holly. Sparks ignite and uncertainty ensues as Holly and Steel's turbulent journey begins. Will they get their chance for happiness.

-An intense MC romance packed with gunfire, danger, and nonstop action. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts.
Steel and Holly find an unexpected connection while running from club wars and family chaos. Their love grows raw and earned, proving mercy and loyalty can exist even in the darkest moments.
The author has given us an older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Steel, Holly and her brother, James. The heart pounding story keeps us turning the pages with danger, connection, suspense and steam.

Love this series and loved this book as well. Holly and Steel’s love story with danger and MC war in the background. And problem with her brother didn’t help much either. But he became her protector and her home. Engaging short and steamy read to enjoy in one go.

The characters fell into instant love and this one was a success. A gambler alcoholic hits bottom and the sister who has supported him finds a new love. As they await their enemies’ demise, a family is formed that begins a journey of love and recovery. It is a quick read and it kept my interest. Enjoy.
Love this book and it's series and would recommend it to anyone who loves to read about MC life and their families and friends 🧡 and Zoey Rose is an amazing writer ❤️
I love zoey's book. This story had romance sooner than I was expecting but it was so good. The story line is good and had parts that are oh I did that or I know a person who is like that.
