It is not a choice that anyone expected, especially her family, who are still reeling from the previous revelations. Josie joins a special department within the Security Intelligence Services, becoming one of the faceless ones who work hard to keep our society safe from behind the scenes, often risking their lives in the process. Join her as she sets out on a new phase of her life, in which she will be challenged on every level, not least her personal fitness and her ability to survive in a very harsh world!

About the author

Tanya Allan is a prolific writer of various works, including novels, short stories and poetry. Some of her work, relating to transgender issues, may be familiar to those who feel that perhaps life would have been easier had they been born with a body and mind of the same gender. She is in the process of publishing all other work under the same name.

Tanya is now settled in the southern half of the United Kingdom (sometimes known as England). Born and educated in Scotland, and having experienced well over a half-century of life, in a myriad of guises, mostly involved keeping the realm safe and secure from enemies, both domestic and foreign, Tanya has a more sedate life now, concentrating on grandchildren, dogs, travel and writing.

Changed fortune

Fantastic read and another intrigue and mysterious adventure including the harsh life of a secret service agent and also the beginning of a new life for a former make who is now a heroine in her own right.

Action

I really enjoy Tanya Allan's books. This one has got great action scenes and could be continued as a series.
