The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is now being offered as an internet-based test, or iBT, and the new edition of Barron’s TOEFL manual and accompanying software have been completely revised and updated to reflect the new format. The manual presents seven full-length model TOEFL iBT tests with explanations or examples for all questions, including sample essays and speaking responses. The author also offers general orientation to the new TOEFL iBT, as well as a review of academic skills, which include note taking, paraphrasing, summarizing, and synthesizing. There is also a review of language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The optional CD-ROM presents seven on-screen TOEFL iBT exams that simulate actual test conditions and provide automatic scoring.

Productive!!!
The most important tip for TOEFL iBT preparation is to practice as much as possible and the best book for practice is Barron's TOEFL iBT.
I highly recommend this book and its Software (CD) to all those who are in truck of preparation for TOEFL iBT.

I found Barron's publication effective for the detailed information it provided. It is close to the real exam and the audience can find a large amount of information necessary for this exam. Besides, necessary tips to perform well on it were also provided. Several readings with quality content could be found in this publication. It worked well on me and I think it makes a worthwhile publication for anyone concerned about the exam or interested in performing on it with satisfactory result.

It was a really great book.. I super recommend it 2 ppl who wana take the TOEFL iBT
it helped me get better understanding of the questions nd the best way to solve them plus it improved a lot of skills that I lacked
it contains many, many practice tests with an audio CDs and a CD ROM for a real test experience

This edition addresses all the elements of TOEFL iBT. The only reason why I don't give it five stars is that it only contains non-official questions. I would recommend a prospective test-taker to also purchase some official ETS TOEFL sample tests.
