One question. One dare. One fall she never saw coming.

Daisy Jo Whitton never planned to meet anyone during office drinks—let alone a charming stranger in a bar bathroom line who challenges her to a game of truth or dare.

Brody Miller is confident, magnetic, and impossible to read. One impulsive dare turns into flirty texts, late-night conversations, and a connection Daisy can’t ignore. But the final rule of the game is no one tells the whole truth.

As feelings deepen, secrets surface, and an unknown caller won’t stop ringing, Daisy is forced to decide how much of her heart she’s willing to risk. Because some dares are easy… and some change everything.

Dare Me to Fall is a contemporary romance filled with playful banter, slow-burn chemistry, emotional depth, and the courage it takes to choose love when walking away would be easier.

Perfect for readers who
• truth or dare romance
• meet-cutes with chemistry
• flirty texting
• artist heroines
• slow-burn contemporary romance

The cutest meetcute ever to happen and it just keeps getting even more disgustingly sweet as Brody and Daisy Jo continue to grow closer together with a simple question.. truth or dare - the tether that has their lives tied together. A feel good, smile and blush inducing story with a great tie to the realities of being human.

Daisy Jo is a humble artist that has diminished her love for sculpting as merely a hobby until mystery man Brody comes out and has her taking a giant leap towards what makes her heart sing and making waves in the art community. Despite the immense amount of perfect Brody serves, he has a deep secret in his closet that has him spiraling down the drain and putting everything with Daisy Jo at risk. Can he recover? Will Daisy Jo stay by his side when the darkness is revealed? What does turning the light on mean for them?

A beautiful novelization of romance meets mental health, the ideology that it is something to be ashamed about, having good support when the world comes crashing down, being strong enough to ask for help and seeing that sometimes our biggest mistake can come to be a blessing in disguise; highlighting pursuing ones passions, dreams and accepting that we are all humans and we are all going through something despite how we present on the outside and the expectations/weight of "being fine" is more detrimental than having the tough conversation.

A super cute meet-cute and an innocent game of Truth or Dare leads us into such a fun story but also an emotional rollercoaster with past trauma and addiction demons that come out to play

The characters are all well rounded and well written and a fun group.

The middle of the book fell a little flat for me and I would have loved to have a Brody POV at this point but it picks up again and the ending is perfect

Thank you Brittany Evermore for the ARC opportunity 💕

Dare Me to Fall is a book that starts with a game of truth or dare that turns into so much more!

Daisy Jo is an artist who has big dreams while Brody is mysterious but charming. Brody and Daisy Jo’s meetcute was so sweet and their relationship was really sweet too! However, their relationship isn’t all rainbows and butterflies. There is addiction, mental health issues, and past trauma that may change everything.

Brittany Evermore writes the emotions of both Brody and Daisy Jo so well, and so realistically. They don’t just brush everything under the rug and go back to being all in love. They both work to get back to each other, especially Brody.

The side characters also really helped round out this story. Leah and Katie were the best friends any girl could ask for, especially Daisy Jo! They helped her through a lot in this book and brought some great perspective to the story.

The topic of addiction, mental health issues, and past trauma were all handled with care and written well.

Overall…

Truth-I loved this book way more than I thought I was going too! 10/10 would recommend!

Dare-I dare you to read this book or any book by Brittany Evermore!

Almost halfway through the book, i cannot contain the internal urge to scream at the FMC "ALERT! this is a walking red-flag! Pull yourself and get your sense back together!" considering how fast and fishy their connection went. Everything makes me feel so uneasy!

However, I really think the truth or dare idea is rather unique and sweet. As the story begins to unfold, it pulls you into an emotional roller coaster that completely changes how you see everything. By the end it all makes sense and you'll appreciate the whole journey. You’ll end up loving the MCs, and the supporting characters make the story even better.

Truth: The author has brilliant way of keeping you intrigued, and everything clicks beautifully once you finish the book. I love it!

Dare: I dare you to read the book until you finish it 😝.

Im thankful to be given the opportunity to read this in advance.

I really enjoyed this story. Good, meet cute between the characters! I over the truth or dare they play throughout the book!
Daisy Jo decides it's time to follow her heart and create sculptures for a career instead of just a hobby with the support of Brody, giving her confidence in herself and work.

Brody has some secrets, parts of himself that he is keeping to himself that when are revealed could change things.

The middle part of the book fell off for me a bit, and I think if we had gotten Brodys side of the story in this area, it would have been a 5 star read for mem.
I enjoyed all the support characters as well, and I really hope we get some of their stories.

I received an ARC copy of Dare Me to Fall by Brittany Evermore. It started with an innocent game of Truth or Dare and grew into so much more. This story isn’t just the love story but one about facing some demons and past traumas that shaped and influenced both Brody and Daisy Jo into who they are now. This story also addresses addiction and how it impacts people around the one that is struggling.
Truth- I enjoyed reading this book. I laughed as well as got frustrated with the characters, (when appropriate).
Dare- I dare you to read this book!

Read this as an early read and leaving an honest review. The premise is this book was super cute. However, this book needed multiple trigger warnings: alcoholism on page, mental health representation, mention of rehab, yelling/breaking items when upset, car accidents, DUI, etc.

I think there is an audience for this book, it just wasn’t for me.
