Weston’s the perfect college golden boy.
The rule follower ‘Frat Dad’ of Onyx Society.

Dark and violent, just because it’s fun.
But I watch as he breaks all of his rules for me, one by one.
He’s never slept with a man, and I’m a lone wolf...
But this twisted thing between us is quickly becoming a need.
But now I’m playing for two sides.
My frat has me gathering info on Wes, as our societies reignite a war that should have died years ago.

Reckless Little Game is an entertaining story featuring complete opposites, Weston and Sevan. They have a fantastic introduction that sets the stage for their dynamic. Their dynamic has a touch of danger surrounded by sizzling chemistry that leaves you wanting more. Another aspect of their dynamic that makes it entertaining is how both Sevan and Weston are reluctant to pursue one another, while having the most impossible time of reisisting.

Overall, this is a highly entertaining entry in this series that is full of steamy moments, surprising character reveals, and moments of great heart between the two leads. I really enjoyed West and Sev's story and cannot wait for what the next entry brings.

This whole series really keeps you on your toes at all times 🙈 these boys don't play along once you're involved with them and things tend to get pretty intense.

Weston and Sevan are not close, or anything at all really, when this story starts. They may have intentions with one another, but would've never thought that they might happen the way they did. Well, the best things come unexpected, right 🤭

Their banter was fascinating, and I was so hyped for them to discover their true feelings 🥰

West & Sev

This has been such a great series.

Lots of action, mystery and intrigue. Great side characters and found family.

But it's also sweet, tender and spicy.

I really enjoyed these two. Sev and Wes were perfect for each other

The most unlikely pair but those always make the best couples.

I loved how much they were there for each other. Both always wanting to protect others.

Looking forward to the next book in the series for sure.

This is a great world

So thankful for this arc

Okay, I’m actually obsessed with these two! Wes and Sev had me 100% under their spell from their first spicy encounter at that party.

Wes is the most gorgeous golden retriever. Bless him and his big heart. He’s the golden boy, needy for affection and desperate for a relationship, while Sev is like a dark knight in comparison – revelling getting into fights and having one-night stands. Safe to say, they are pretty opposite in personality. But they are both caretakers down to their core in their own ways: Sev to the few people he cares about, whereas Wes is the frat dad who looks out for everyone.

Our caring boy manages to win Sev’s heart with his genuine, selfless actions, and honestly, he totally won mine too, becoming my favourite character in this series so far. He’s dealt with a lot of pain in his life, and he deserves some light after so much dark. The thing I loved most about Sev was that he absolutely sees Wes and appreciates him for the person he is.

Their relationship probably shouldn’t work, but it absolutely does. They’re drawn together like moths to flames, and I was mesmerised by them. The spark between them, the irresistible pull that always brought these rivals together – they quickly got addicted to each other and I couldn’t tear my eyes away. And when Sev is unexpectedly soft and tender to Wes, I melted *shiver*. He gives Wes everything he’s craved for for so long.

I am now very eager for Noah’s book. Not only have I got really attached to his character, but rumour has it that there's a wedding on the horizon with a potential stepbrother in sight. I will be waiting with bated breath for that one, because as we know, stepbrothers are my ultimate weakness in books.

Some of my favourite quotes

His smile is like a tiny glimpse of sun after months of grey. It almost makes me wish I could get him to smile more, even if his scowl is starting to grow on me too.

“There’s no one else like you, Weston Knox.” “Good. I don’t want to be like everyone else.” “Trust me. You’re better than most people could even pretend to be.”

“I’ve spent my whole life trying to be strong, and I still feel like I’m... nothing, sometimes.” “The fact that you are still trying is why I know you’re strong. It matters. You know that, right?”

“This is real for me. And nothing ever has been before.” “It’s real for me, too,”

“You’ve never blended into the background for me. Never.”

“How could you say you were falling for me?” “Because for the first time in my life I’ve realized there’s nothing to fix. I couldn’t fix you if I tried. You’re stubborn and solid and absolutely yourself, and I love every frustrating moment of it, Weston.”

“You can’t be scared of me. You could take me out no matter how strong I am. You’re not scared of anyone.” “No. You have the power to hurt me.” “I’m never going to hurt you, Sev,”

“Maybe the only reason I haven’t wanted a relationship before is because no one else has been you.”

“If you’re my boyfriend I don’t want to be quiet about it. I’m not secretive, or ashamed, or nervous. I want to be all in. Are you okay with that?”

I love every shade and facet of Sevan Berlant, including every side I thought I hated so much before.

“I’ve been falling in love with you, against my own will, every single time I’m near you, Weston,”

Addictive, angsty, and impossible to put down.

𝜗𝜚 “He’s here. Sev Berlant is inside, somewhere. All I have to do is go in and find him… then take what I want.” 𝜗𝜚

This book starts off with Weston attending a masked party intending to find Sevan for a revenge fantasy and things don't turn out the way he wanted it to -- in fact it get's FLIPPED on him. Weston and Sevan never got along due to Weston having a "frat dad" / "sheriff" nickname and with Sevan thinking that Weston's alumni bribed everyone at last year's alumni dinner.

I loved Sev and Weston's relationship so much! I finished this book in ONE sitting! Since they were nowhere close to being friends, you got to see them building a sort of friendship and then a relationship. I loved how they were there for each other throughout everything -- like when Weston popped up at Sevan's house when he was missing days because of his mom. There were just so many cute moments that I ADORED🙃

I can't wait to read Noah and Torin's book next, I have a feeling i'm going to love it!!

𖤐 “How could you say you were falling for me?” I ask. “Because for the first time in my life I’ve realized there’s nothing to fix. I couldn’t fix you if I tried. You’re stubborn and solid and absolutely yourself, and I love every frustrating moment of it, Weston.” 𖤐

here's some more of my favorite quotes from this book because I just can't resist!

“You can’t be scared of me. You could take me out no matter how strong I am. You’re not scared of anyone.” “No. You have the power to hurt me.”

“The reason I thought I hated you is because I couldn’t control how I felt around you. You terrify me.”

“But I know I’m difficult,” he says. “There’s nothing difficult about you at all. When you’re not near me I’m frustrated by it, Weston.” “Don’t you love being alone?” “I do. And being with you is still better.”

“I would have hurt him for you,” he murmurs. “Are you aware of that? I didn’t hurt him, but I wish I did.”

“I want it to be like this forever,” Sev says in a low voice a minute later. “It can be,” I tell him. “And no matter what changes, I’m not ever going to get tired of you.”

“I want to spend the rest of my life showing Weston how much I can give. And he’s already blown my whole world wide open. His stubborn loyalty. His unyielding presence. And our reckless, irresistible, fucking perfect love."

“I’m so fucked up about you, Knox."

I’m finding Sev Berlant tonight and I don’t give a damn if it’s a bad decision.

Irked by the way Sevan dislikes him, Weston decides to track him down for a sort of sexy little revenge fantasy. Of course things don't go as planned and the two end up catching feelings despite their many differences.
I want him in an ugly, reckless, completely unmanageable way. And if he ever discovers that I’m capable of even a shred of a feeling toward him, he’ll drop me like a lead weight in an instant.

I really liked both characters- it was interesting that they each have parental baggage. Sevan has mommy issues after seeing his mom's pattern of neediness in relationships. He wants to be completely independent, never needing anyone or having to ask for help. He really doesn't want a relationship and even gets twitchy when Wes is nice to him. Weston has daddy issues from years of abuse from his father, compounding years of childhood bullying. He's super needy in relationships and craves validation from his partner- the exact thing Sev doesn't want to give him. The two MCs have to find a way to overcome these issues to make their relationship work. They essentially trap themselves into a game of relationship chicken where they both increasingly want to date the other but really don't want to admit it in case the other bails. It was very entertaining to read!
I don’t know how to act when people are worried about me. It makes me feel like I’m not on an island of my own. Like I’m vulnerable. Like if I get too used to the feeling of having others around, it’ll all blow up in my face when something inevitably goes wrong.

Like the other books in this series I found that there is a hodgepodge of tropes thrown into the mix in a sort of trope roulette. Most of them aren't really explored all that well or integral to the plot. For example there's a scene or two where Wes seems into breath play and then it's never really mentioned again. With that said, this book dialled it back a little compared to the last one. I have enjoyed the series overall so I'm going to try to stop complaining about the many tropes and the fact that they aren't very convincingly dark in tone. Personally I would've enjoyed the entertaining romance between the two more without the 'dark' subplot, but it's a minor part of the book and not a deal-breaker.
I’ve wanted a quiet, easy kind of love for my entire life, probably because I’ve never had anything like that before. I crave it, like an ache in my bones.

As book 3 in the series, I wouldn't recommend reading it as a standalone. It was my favourite so far though, and I'm looking forward to book 4 🔥.

Again, I liked this book and I was entertained but there was just too much going on outside of Sevan and Weston's story, so it took away from the relationship development and it made the internal conflicts of Wes and Sev not as impactful as they could have been.

Like with the previous book, there are so many external conflicts that it just ends up diluting the actual romance story. It also doesn't make it easy to emotionally connect with the characters individually or as a couple because they're too busy dealing with everything that's going on with side characters!

There was already Sev's mum and her relationship issues, Kieran's vendetta and paranoia, and the lingering presence of Weston's awful dad as external conflicts for the couple to deal with. Did we really need some random lackey with a grudge coming in too? I feel like Cal could have been completely removed and we'd essentially still get to the same end result but with the couple being the focus. There was a great setup for a miscommunication and perceived betrayal where we could have gotten something more emotional and heartfelt from both Sev and Wes that addressed their trust and commitment issues, but it was totally brushed over in favour of a bunch of side characters and their issues.

Kieran was enough to have been the 'bad guy' on his own, but also he gets more page time than Wes's brother and best friend who are barely mentioned at all for the whole book, which was strange to me! Where was Wes's support system when he was going through everything? It was like a Sev and Wes bubble and yet it still didn't feel like they get all the attention on them and their relationship in their own book.

I did like Wes and Sev together, I thought the way they both fell hard and fast was entertaining and strangely believable, but I wanted to see more of them together where it wasn't just about sex or the drama with the fraternities and side characters. They do at least have some conversations and get to know each other somewhat, but I wish there'd been more scenes like Sev's engineering competition where we get to see them together as a couple but not in a sex setting.

I came out of this knowing more about Kieran and Noah's personal issues than how Wes feels about being in a relationship with Sev, or about how Sev feels about being in a relationship at all. There was also far too much setup for Noah's book, to the point where it feels like it'll be impossible to have any surprises in his story.

I am really loving this series so much. I think I have read everything from this author and this series is some of his darkest and delicious work. I am always surprised when reading as to who the author is.

Weston has been in the first two books and now it is his time. He wants to see what it would be like to be with his crush. But to do this he needs to put himself very far out of his comfort. He has to go to a house for a "party" wearing a mask. Because he has a goal to find one man specifically he needs to hide his complete identity. However he get caught by someone else and is handcuffed, roughed up, and thinks he may not make it. But then his man comes to his aid and releases and protects him.

Sevan is still recovering from an injury, and has been looking forward to this party. When he catches the assault he realizes this guy is in over his head. After finding out what he wanted Sev decides to go ahead, but all that changes when he hears his name. Now realizing that this masked person knows who he is changes it all. Then he finds out who it was all along he wants to make Wes regret this night. However once Sev turns out to be the TA for one of Wes's classes this now means they will see each other often.

Will Wes find that he has really enjoyed the time he spent with Sev? Will they find they are oil and water, or match and flame? Will they continue to have a "relationship"? What is going on in the house, will it effect what is happening between the two? Will Sev's mom need his help? Does Sev need Wes's help?

There is so much going on in this series... I CAN NOT WAIT for book 3!

Weston and Sevan 🖤

Umm Sev was so down bad, and I’m here for it 😅

These two were a fun time! My only real issue with this book / series is that certain aspects are brought up, but then not fully fleshed out or wrapped up in a satisfying way.

I wish that maybe less plots and tropes were incorporated so that the focus can be more in depth and less broad over an array of them.

But I did enjoy Sev and Wes, and I loved how they just supported each other. They knew what the other needed even when they may not have been able to express it.

Overall this was a pretty light read, not too much angst or tension. I’m hoping we get a story on Roman one day. He’s intriguing me more and more with each book.

I’m looking forward to the next in the series! I think our next MMC is going to be a fun time finding his love, even if it’s grudgingly 🤣

********** Contains Spoilers**********

I’ve read quite a few of Raleigh Ruebins books in the past which I really enjoyed and this is no different. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I thought that Sev & Wes were great together. There’s always been a deep animosity between them, that eventually turns into so much more. Really at the core of things they aren’t so different as they protect those they care about, Sev just cares about very few people and he uses his fists as a form of protection. Wes is known as the Frat dad and cares about the safety and wellbeing of everyone.

The way these two started was surprising and it was fun to watch them try and stay away from each other but it doesn’t work so well. I liked seeing them slowly drop their walls and allow the other in. I really enjoyed being able to immerse myself in this world that Raleigh has created and I can’t wait for more. I hope Roman will eventually get his own book as he seems like a very interesting character. I’m really looking forward to reading more from this series as it continues, as well as more from Raleigh Ruebins in the future. I’d recommend this book, series and author to others.

Reckless Little Game is book three in the Crimson College series. This MM college dark romance story is about Weston and Sevan.

We have met both Wes and Sev in the previous books in this series. Wes is in the Onyx Society with his brother Hunter and his best friend Rayne. He is the golden boy and known as the frat dad, but Sev’s nickname for him is Sheriff. Sev is in the Double Daggers and Niko is his cousin. Sev is the tattooed reckless playboy.

Wes and Sev have been enemies, but one chaotic night between them starts to change things. Because of Sev’s childhood, he doesn’t do relationships and is a lone wolf. But as much as he tries to stay away, Sev can’t help but give in to Wes. I loved seeing these two catch feelings for each other. Wes and Sev both put up walls, but once they broke through them, there was no turning back.

With their frats at war, I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen. While I do have to say I think everything worked out a little too easily, I still really enjoyed this story. Wes and Sev were perfect for each other, and they deserved to get their HEA. I definitely can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Reckless Little Game by Raleigh Ruebins is the 3d book in the Crimson College series. Please note, this is not a stand-alone and should be read after the first 2 books of the series.

Reckless Little Game is Sev and Wes's story. We met both characters in the previous 2 books of the series. I don't want to spoil anything, but I can say this book is a great installment of the series. We get to see these 2 characters grow together in a beautiful way. We also get more glimpses into other characters that have not been at the forefront previously.

For all the bluster Sev tries to project, he is a softie and protective. It’s nice to see him start to understand Wes and give him some grace, even if it seems to be against his will. I love how even though Sev and Wes say they hate each other, Wes trusts Sev and Sev takes care of Wes.

You learn how much Sev cares about his cousin Niko and how much he will do for him. You start to see that transition in him for Wes as the book goes on. For Sev, it takes a long time for him to warm up to you, but once he does he’s all in.

One thing I would have liked to have seen was a consent conversation before the breath play.

Somewhere along the way Raleigh became an auto-read author to me.
The hell if I know when or how that happened... oh - yeah - with "Dark little Game" I suppose 😸

I just love these (half) brothers and their kind of weird and sweet 🩵

And Weston's book did not disappoint!

I'm gonna be honest - the first few chapters had me absolutely loathe Sev. What an entitled prick.

And Weston? Well, sweet, uptight Weston... you just HAVE to love him!!!

Ok. You will also love Sev - eventually...

Nevermind.

I loved the story (not as action-packed as the previous two, but just as entertaining). Their HEA was perfect and it fits seamlessly into the rest of the series.

Oh well, I KNOW this CAN be read as a standalone- but to me all three of these books feel like one, only told in 6 different POV's.
So, trust me.
Start with the first - it's worth it 😽🩵

Thank you to Gay Romance Reviews, the author and publisher for the opportunity to read and review this freaking book! Holy shit y’all, I am fucking FERAL for Sevan Berlant. The tatted James Dean rebel GOD of Double Daggers house!
And then we have Weston Knox aka The Sheriff of Crimson College aka Frat Dad of the Onyx (or Frat Daddy as I prefer to call him - even though we know who the real daddy is *Sev Berlant*)!

Every moment between these two had me SWEATING!! God, they’re perfect together - even if it took them forever to figure it out!
The entire dynamic between Sev and Wes was brilliant. Rival frat societies, with just enough society and personal backstory to make an intense plot. And an even more intense relationship.

I read this as a standalone and have not read other books in the series yet, but I am itching for more!!! TBR, here I come! Cannot wait for Noah’s book. We all know I’m crazy for a good stepbrother romance!

So, “leave your other world at the door” and come meet the sexy boys of Crimson College!

Well, Raleigh Ruebins has once again created something fantastic, so she’s officially joined my list of “authors whose books I automatically read.”

I’ll admit that in the previous book I didn’t really pay much attention to Sev or Wes—but oh my god, these boys completely stole my heart.
The way their mutual dislike so beautifully turned into love, and how both of them tried to navigate the line between doing everything required by their fraternities and what they personally wanted… just perfection.

Thankfully, there isn’t too much heavy or high-stakes tension in the story, but there are so many lovable characters, insanely good character development, and of course, an amazing plot.
An absolute favorite 🥰

And when Torin—Noah’s future stepbrother—was first mentioned, I somehow immediately thought they had to get their own story, because honestly, what could be more exciting than a good stepbrother romance? 🤭
And lo and behold 🥹 I can’t wait for their story 🫣

This book wastes no time pulling the reader in, opening with exactly the level of spice you’d hope for. Sevan and Weston have been circling each other for a while, and their connection at the Veritas party sets their story beautifully into motion.

I loved the opposites-attract dynamic — while they initially seem very different, it was satisfying to watch them discover how much they actually had in common.

The rival-fraternity tension added an entertaining layer to the plot and gave their relationship stakes beyond just romance. My favorite part, though, was the character development. Watching Sevan and Weston slowly lower their defenses and truly get to know each other made their relationship feel authentic and earned. Both characters had significant emotional walls, and the push-and-pull of them resisting what they clearly wanted and needed worked so well.

I would have loved to see them together at another Veritas party as a couple, but regardless, their chemistry on the page was undeniable. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and am already looking forward to the next installment in the series.

I was gifted an advance copy of this book.

Reckless Little Game – Raleigh Ruebins 🖤🎭

Secret societies, masked parties, and a dangerous attraction born from years of rivalry… Weston’s “good boy” mask starts to crack under Sev’s chaotic and arrogant energy. The tension between them feels like it could explode in every scene. Power struggles, obsessive glances, and the feeling of losing control carry the story from beginning to end. ⚡🖤

Honestly, I couldn’t even decide who my favorite was. Weston’s inner conflict the moment he sees Sev, his need to tell the truth no matter what, and his attempts to express himself were really beautiful to read. But Sev turned out to be much sweeter and more vulnerable than I expected. The dynamic between them was both tense and addictive. 🫠

In this dark rivals-to-lers story, the spicy scenes were also really good; the balance between tension and passion was handled well. 🌶️🔥

Obsession, possessiveness, and the feeling of a chosen family are present on every page. If you love dark MM romance and don’t shy away from boundary-pushing dynamics, this one is a perfect hit. 🖤📚

Reckless Little Games is obsession, power, and temptation wrapped in a college war that’s ready to explode.

This book delivers such a satisfying dynamic between Sev and Weston — because it isn’t just attraction. It’s collision. Sev is chaos with teeth, and Weston is discipline, reputation, and rules… until Sev gets close enough to make him forget why those rules mattered in the first place.

The push-pull is addictive. Weston’s “perfect golden boy” image cracks in the most delicious way, and watching him unravel — slowly, stubbornly, and completely — is easily one of the strongest parts of the story.

And Sev? He’s not written as a soft bad boy. He’s sharp, intense, and protective in a way that feels possessive without losing emotional depth. The tension between loyalty and desire keeps the stakes high, and the frat war backdrop adds real momentum instead of just being decoration.

If you love romances where the characters are playing with fire and fully aware they might burn… this one is going to hit.

Raleigh Reubins is on my automatic must-read author list and this one absolutely delivered. Book three in the Crimson College series drops you right into Weston and Sevan’s messy, intense dynamic. It all begins with one reckless night—Weston has had enough and is set on getting revenge on Sev for all the ways he’s made Weston’s college life more difficult—that quickly spirals into something far more complicated. Their relationship is packed with tension, undeniable chemistry, and unexpected vulnerability. I loved how neither of them can truly hold back when it comes to how they feel. Weston’s lingering overwhelm from trauma touched on in earlier books contrasts strongly with Sev’s dominant, aggressive yet protective nature, which makes their connection even more powerful.

It’s darker at times and definitely spicy, but there’s also a softer side that catches you off guard. The drama, heat, and emotion come together in a way that keeps the pages turning. A seriously addictive addition to an already really good series—I genuinely enjoyed it.

I want to say thank you for the opportunity to be an ARC reader for this amazing book. This is book 3 in the crimson college series if you haven't read the others I advise you too it so worth it. These MM romances are absolutely delicious. This story is about Weston and Sevan. I like how they are the most unlikely pair to be together. They do their best to resist but fate makes it impossible for them to resist each other. This is a sizzling hot romance with a touch of danger and everything right. There is lots of action, Mystery and everything is so intriguing. The banter is out of this world amazing. The way they want to protect each other is so sweet. This book had me addicted from the very first chapter and did not let me go until the very end. I have read all 3 in this series so far and cannot wait to see where this series continues to go and what amazing men, we meet int he future.

Reckless Little Game is the third book in the Crimson College Series. This book focuses on Sevan and Weston.

These two are complete opposites. Weston is joking referred to as the Frat dad. He craves affection and a wants a relationship. Sevan is chaos in human form. He craves fighting and one night stands. Deep down, both boys are caretakers and will do anything to help the ones they love.

I really enjoyed how both boys brought out the best in each other and really opened themselves up emotionally. Sevan allowed Weston to help take care of him and his mother, while Sevan shows him through action how much he means to him.

While I enjoyed this book, I had a hard time staying engaged and struggled at times to follow along. I will definitely be continuing the series because hello… stepbrothers!

Thank you Raleigh’s Rueben’s and the Author Agency for the advanced copy.

This book was fantastic. I've very much enjoyed the previous two books in the series, so I was definitely anticipating this one being excellent--and it was.

Raleigh Ruebins writes phenomenal characters. They're relatable while still being larger than life. I adore how complex both Wes and Sev are. They're broken in similar and also different ways so that their jagged edges align perfectly. Watching their relationship grow kept me glued to my ereader and turning pages when I really should have been doing other things.

The underlying darkness of the series should feel fantastical but with everything going on in the world right now, it feels haunting and familiar but also like the creeping dread in a particularly compelling horror movie. Basically, it's perfect is what I'm saying.

Sev isn’t interested in relationships, he is a lone wolf and will keep it that way. But one person rubs him the wrong way, Weston ‘Sheriff’ Knox.

The feeling is mutual.

So much so that Wes gets himself an invite to a secret party where there are no rules, determined to make Sev suck him off to hold over him. But things don’t quite go to plan and Sev not only helps him but has him on his knees too.

Thus begins a fun physical thing between these two, though Wes wants nothing more than a relationship, someone who will choose him for once, he knows that isn’t what Sev is like.

But maybe Sev is changing..

This was such a great story! These characters were so fun, super hot but also vulnerable when it was needed and I loved that for them! Can’t wait for more in this series!

West and Sev. The tension between the two in the prior book in the series had me dying to know how theirs’d turn out, and straight away I was all in. It was dialled up a couple of levels in the beginning - I was hooked.
It did dissipate a little more quickly than I expected, and turned into a less brutally sexual kind of tension, becoming more vulnerable and gentle. Then I was absorbed in the high swoon and feelings these two projected, and caught up in their dance around each other before their eventual HEA.

I’m not sure I really understood the drama later in the book and all it meant for Wes, but nevertheless, I really enjoyed this. I think this is my favourite of the series, possibly my favourite Raleigh book too.

Good to see plenty of the Onyx guys again and I’m looking forward to the next couple up.

I received an ARC from GRR and this is my honest review.

Who doesn’t love a good hate fu€k? Or a good MM book?☺️ Weston is tired of Sev ruining everything for him. Sev is always around causing scenes and fights, he even gave West the nickname Sheriff.
West finds himself at an exclusive masked party looking for Sev. He will find Sev and he will make him get on his knees and… take care of him 😉. Then West will finally have something over Sev. But the tables are quickly turned on West…. and he finds himself enjoying it.
Sev is the perfect bad boy who seems dangerous and dark. Soon Sev finds himself letting down his walls for West. Becoming obsessed with West, quickly finding himself falling even for this man. Sev never does repeats, but he cannot get enough.

Each time a new book in this series comes out, I find a new favorite! Book 3 in the Crimson College series follows Sev and Wes, enemies from rival secret society frats. The previous book set them up nicely with building tension and constant arguing anytime they were in the same room. So it was no surprise that these two have amazing chemistry from the very first chapter of this book. I really enjoyed the plot of this one and how there was more focus on building their relationship and trust in each other than on the outside conflict.

This was book 3 in the series. Haven’t read the previous ones and I don’t feel like I missed much. I will go back and read them as I really really enjoyed Wes and Sev’s story. Weston and Sevan probably should work so well together but they do. This started out hot right off the bat and what started as a revenge hookup quickly morphed into a beautiful love story. It was on the darker side and I loved it

The side characters were great. I look forward to reading Noah’s story because mmmm yes stepbrother! Say no more, I’m in!

I was provided this arc in exchange for a honest and unbiased review

💫ARC REVIEW💫

Wes & Sev

These two had the intensity of a thousand suns! They found love where they least expected it.

Wes was definitely the good boy he seemed to be, I loved that he knew it and he didn't want to change, and Sev loved him for it.

When Wes went to check on Sev and his mom..🥹💚I knew they were meant to be then...

I loved their chemistry and how they unraveled for each other.

Noah and Kieran definitely need help, I cant wait for Noah's book!!! and I hope Kieran gets one too, I would love to see him get his shit together and find happiness 😊

I'm enjoying this series very much, looking forward to the next one!

I read this story first and I definitely need to go back and read books 1 & 2. I absolutely loved these two and couldn't put it down. They were both so determined to make their encounters with each other go one way, that when they both went the opposite direction of what they planned, it became so much better. They have such a pull to one another and a determination to stay away, while also getting as close as they can. Sev gains something he thought he'd never want or need, while Weston learns about himself. I can't wait to catch up with the others and for the next story to come out.
