Never trust an angel without his halo.

All my life I’ve dreamed of escaping my nowhere town and the people who want to keep me small. When I finally get my chance to start over in the Pink City—the beating heart of art, fashion, and beauty—I think I’m stepping into a new life. Thing is… I’d always known life in the Pink City was magical, but until them… I hadn’t realized that was literal.

While I’m just trying to live my dream of becoming a fashion photographer in the most cosmopolitan city in the world, the shadowy supernatural powers secretly hiding amongst humanity are trying to kill me, control me, or turn me into a resurrected goddess. Apparently, I’m special after all, just not in a way I’ve ever imagined.

Now I have four devastatingly gorgeous celestial men orbiting my every move, each powerful enough to destroy me, and each drawn to me for reasons none of them want to explain. It’s just anyone’s guess which ones are trying to protect me… and which of them wants to own me.

Is the brooding archangel-turned-CEO determined to save me… or possess me?

Is the brilliant med-tech manipulator pulling me closer because he’s the only one who understands what I am… or because he wants to control my transformation?

Is the fiercely loyal detective ever going to loosen his leash—especially when it comes to me?

And is that golden-boy supermodel everyone adores really just a handsome cinnamon roll of a hottie or the most dangerous of them all?

Because if I can’t learn to tell angel from daemon and protector from supernatural schemer, I could end up more than heartbroken… and worse than dead.

BETWEEN HEAVEN AND EARTH is a lush, slow-burn, why-choose urban romantasy for readers who love big books, sprawling worlds, obsessive protectors, the irresistible pull of fated mates, the tenderness of found family, and a determined FMC who would rather sass an archangel than bow to him. This 7-book series features multiple POV, explicit steam (including MM), supernatural intrigue, luxury settings, and a heroine who discovers that desire is a form of power. Book 1 ends with a HFN and a small cliffhanger.

My goodness, this was a hefty read—lol. I usually prefer longer books; however, this one tested even my resolve. Don’t get me wrong, I liked the book, I just love to binge-read, and this wasn’t something I could do without losing two nights of sleep.

The premise was genuinely unique and very multi-genre, and I think the author did a solid job of creating distinct characters that didn’t feel the same or blur together. There is spice, but in all honesty, compared to the bulk of the content, it leans much more toward lore, action, discovery, and suspense rather than heat.

I didn’t love this read, but I really did enjoy it, and I would absolutely read book two. It was engaging and had plenty of adventure throughout.

This was an entertaining read. It had good moments that made me laugh and an interesting premise that’s definitely worth reading. My issue was the pacing. There was so much good stuff but very little tension. I didn’t find myself aching to read more and more, but I enjoyed myself whenever I did have the time to pick it up and continue (it’s a big one). All in all, it’s a great easy urban fantasy, especially as a break for someone like me who reads a lot of really heavy worldbuildy epic fantasies. Would recommend 💙
