I choose this rating because it a lot of research out into it, and good research, be it didn't keep my attention to eat the book up in one of two sessions. It really hope ones mind and heart the pattern that has beer in place in number order, from the beginning of the bible. The generation of Jesus, the book of Numbers. Thank you for your hard work, Amen.
One of the few authors who address the symbolism and numerology of the Old and New Testaments. While the historian might question the fulfillment of prophecy versus writing to fulfill prophecy and the theologian might question the symbology and numerology, the discerning reader will enjoy pondering the author’s observations. A good read.
Very interesting and thought provoking. Although being numerically weak in understanding some of the chapters, I did non the less get a grasp of the beauty of God and His mastermind at work in scripture and his created work.
Wow! Couldn't put this down unless I really had to. We have different protagonists with different plans and goals, and the author managed to get them all to an explosive finale in this fast paced story dealing with bible/scripture interpretation, revenge, and secret organisations, told in a style making the reader reluctant to take a break from reading. Well I said "finale", but the story is ongoing, with at least 2 other volumes I have found (and earmarked for ordering!)
I'm not sure why I originally downloaded this book--I guess because it was free and sounded kind of interesting. The problem was that it was just not extremely readable and, for me, it was difficult to follow--maybe because I don't know enough about the bible. I did enjoy reading about the background of the number 13 and finding out some of the reasons it became to be considered an unlucky number.
If you enjoy numerology, this book is for you. I suggest that any number you want to fixate about will be found in abundance in the Bible or any place else. I would not recommend this book, although the three-star rating is appropriate because of the author's hard work.
An amazing book which serves to remind us that Hebrew alphabets are not just alphabets but also numbers. The words or God is not only in words, but also in numbers. Perhaps reading the bible in English language may mean that we only.have access to half the story.
