3.5, I was truly enjoying this one all up until the last couple of chapters. For some reason I just couldn’t get into the romance between Hailey and Rock. I also found the narrator’s voice for Hailey distracting. If it hadn’t been revealed that Haley was 27 years old I would have thought she was around 15 or 16 by the narrator’s voice. I guess I got used to her voice by the end of the book because I found it less distracting by the end. Still it was a pretty good story.

on of my favorite books in the past year

I stumbled onto Laura Scott and have enjoyed each book but this was a true winner. I’m hoping the series introduces each of the foster siblings. If so, I’m totally hooked! Reminds me of Dee Henderson who I’ve really missed.
