This story throws us straight into chaos when Andrei Markov’s ordinary life explodes during a brutal vampire attack at his school. Just when death seems inevitable, he’s saved by Viviana—his mysterious teacher and secret crush—who reveals a truth darker and more intoxicating than he ever imagined. What really pulled me in was Andrei’s journey. Novel perspective with interesting characters. Sadly pacing is way to slow. The authors style seems to be never use 2 words when 4 will do.

If your favorite kind of vampire story includes a man getting turned, falling hard for his maker/teacher, and stumbling into lust, danger, and devotion, then yes, this book is your vibe.
There are lots of spicy scenes, some fight moments that may need trigger warnings, and a ton of attention paid to the outfits, locations, and emotional details.
But what really got me was the heart of it all. This story knows exactly what it feels like to love someone so much you’d burn the world for them and not even blink.
I loved Andrei’s transformation, and watching his journey. He was my favorite character by far, and I am absolutely devoted for whatever happens next.
