I’m her boss.
She’s younger than I have any right to want.
Off-limits? Yes. But I’m not used to being denied.

Money doesn’t buy love. It buys a media empire, a Hamptons estate, and a
family name that opens doors. It’s brought plenty of women into my life.
The wrong ones.

Until Juliet.

She’s brilliant, principled, and careful in ways I’m not. She believes in boundaries... especially at work.

I’m the journalism mentor she deserves. I strengthen her voice, sharpen her instincts, and catapult her into the spotlight almost overnight.

She laughs at my dry humor and leaves me unraveled with a single smile.
The night I kissed her, I knew I was finished.

Our chemistry is consuming. I’m obsessed, reckless, and breaking rules in a world that thrives on scandal.

And that’s the danger.

Because I’m hiding a past connection that binds me to her in ways she could never forgive. With a powerful enemy watching, one whisper to the gossip pages could destroy us both.

She’s falling for me. I can feel it.
I just need more time … before everything blows apart.

A steamy, suspense-filled billionaire romance with real stakes, real power, and a love story that truly earns its ending.

Bossy Silver Fox Temptation by D. Hartigan is hands down a five star read for me. I went in expecting a swoony billionaire romance with tension and heat, and what I got was so much deeper, more emotional, and completely addictive.

From the very first chapter, the dynamic between the powerful, controlled media mogul and his ambitious younger employee had me hooked. He is confident, commanding, and used to getting what he wants. But Juliet is not just another woman dazzled by money and influence. She is smart, driven, and fiercely protective of her boundaries. Watching her stand her ground while still feeling that undeniable pull toward him made every interaction crackle with tension.

What I loved most is that this was not just about attraction. Yes, the chemistry is intense and the spice absolutely delivers, but their connection is built on mentorship, respect, and intellectual fire. He sharpens her talent. She challenges his control. The push and pull between them feels real, layered, and earned.

The secret he is hiding adds a constant undercurrent of suspense. There is this looming sense that everything could fall apart at any moment, especially with a powerful enemy circling and scandal waiting to explode. It kept my heart racing because you can feel how high the stakes are for both of them. Their love is not easy or convenient. It costs something.

I also appreciated that the emotional payoff truly feels deserved. This is not an insta fix romance. They struggle. They make mistakes. They question everything. And because of that, the ending hits so much harder.

If you love billionaire romances with an age gap, workplace tension, real emotional depth, and a story that balances steam with suspense, this one needs to be on your list. D. Hartigan delivered power, passion, and vulnerability all in one unforgettable story. I was completely invested from start to finish.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is the ultimate billionaire age gap romance book to be reading. If you don't have Adrian and Juliet in your hands reading their romance story, then trust me you're missing out on a FABULOUS romance book to be reading. This is a GREAT romance book with some 5-star characters and an A+ storyline.
