I've long ago misplaced my original books in this series which I read in the 60s and 70s, but the current author has so closely captured the cadence, voice, style of the original I was quite content and transported back to a simpler time reading about the adventures of an "every-boy" Jimmy Carson and his brainiac friend who are the chief detectives in the Benton + Carson International Detective Agency. Bummed that I didn't take care of the originals, I'd love to re-read them.
