Not very helpful
This book doesn't help you make soap. All it does is explain the different kinds of soap you can make. Like goat's milk or soaps with scents. One suggestion really bothered me. It was suggesting that you make the most fragrant soap that smells stronger than all other soaps. It also said that your skin should smell long afterwards. This is not only false but could be hurtful. You can only put as much fragrance that is safe per each fragrance oil. Essential oils also have max usage. You have to remember that you are using a wash off product and the scent may not linger.

Boy was this book disappointing. The title is a misnomer because there is nothing in this book on how to make soap. The entire books is all about describing the different soaps you can make (the ingredients in them). There are no recipes and nothing about the steps to make soap. The title should be A DESCRIPTION OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF SOAP. I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.
