Sis is over these men playin’ in her face she has a plan to get her lick back. ‘If he thought he had one up on me, he’d better think again because I was for sure getting my mothaf*ckin’ lick back. I guarantee that.’ Yaaaassss Nivia! Lick back season (holiday edition) activate! 🤏🏾🤏🏾 I really enjoyed this book. All I Want For Christmas Is My Lick Back was a quick enjoyable read but, be forewarned, this is not a romantic holiday book. So don’t expect kisses under the mistletoe or proposals on Christmas Day. You’re definitely not getting TVOne holiday movie feel good vibes.

Imagine loving a man, taking a fall for him, spending five years in jail for him and then he ghosts you. Well this is exactly what happened to Nivea. Then to add insult to injury, she spends a year with Jarvis who is actually using her. After finding out, she wiped his safe out and definitely got her lick back. Short, well written, entertaining story.

Getting Your Lick Back

I am so happy that I read this book. It’s very short read, and if I say much more than that, I am going to give away the story, but this book is about Nia who came out of prison,is living her life the best she can. Nia also has a boyfriend named Jarvis, and the story takes off after he asks her to go and meet his family for Christmas. Let me just say that there’s a twist in the story that you won’t see coming and I really wish it was longer. I give this a five out of five.

I’m leaving here with something !

This was a cute and short read. The story short but I felt like I got the full story. Nivia had messed with some ain’t ish men and this was her chance to get everything she deserved and more. Her ex was horrible for letting her go to jail for him. She was way too trusting in that situation. Jarvis on the other hand— he deserved everything he got too. He was attempting to use Nivia knowing everything she had been through. That alone makes him a waste of air and space in my book. I hope Nivia finds a good and honest man the next time around.

Nivia had enough of being played by men; however, the lack of discernment got her caught up with another no good man. Over time, that woman’s intuition kicked in and this time she wasn’t about to ignore it. She definitely planned a lick back that her love interest never saw coming!

The story is fast-paced and mysterious. If you are interested in a woman having the last say, this is the book for you! A full plot within a short amount of pages.

Nivia has been dealt a terrible hand when it comes to relationships. Her first boyfriend completely did her wrong, and her current one without her even realizing it, is pulling the same mess. But this time, Nivia is determined to get her lick back. What she doesn’t expect is that her plan leads her to an ending far better than she ever imagined.
This had the potential to be a greater read if it was longer than 43 pages. But for the length it wasn’t bad.

4.5 I went into this story completely blind. I highly recommend you do the same. At no point did I anticipate the goings on that were going to take place in this story. I was pleasantly surprised, shook, still ya heard me! Baby Nivia definitely hit a lick and got her mf lick back! If you're looking for a sweet romance this ain't it. This is a story about a woman sick of these men playing in her face and doing something about it during the holiday season. Loved it!

Something is sitting in the pit of Nivia’s stomach about meeting the family of her boyfriend, Jarvis. After an accidental butt dial, she finds out that she has been played, and with the assistance of Glock, decides to get her lick back. Let me just say that Jarvis got everything that he deserved…and then some.

This is an action packed short story that I recommend by @brianndanae. My favorite character goes to Nivia, and it should be no surprise that my least favorite goes to Jarvis.

Nivia got her lick back thanks to Glock. Crazy how his brother, Kane, did her. They got Jarvis conniving rump! Got him for everything. He thought he could play with Nivia. Angel a real one. I see why her and Glock chilled.

This one was a very short and quick read. Nivia has been dating Jarvis for a little over a year and debating meeting his family for Christmas. Snooping leads Nivia to finding out some secrets that Jarvis has been hiding, leading her to getting her lock back.

Jarvis was a narcissist. He deserved every bit of the karma that Nivea gave him. Nivea was over men using her and definitely got her lick back with Jarvis. Glock proved to be her brother regardless of what Kane did. Great read!
