Overview A is for Arbol; is a childrens/youth book that takes the English Latin Alphabet (our ABCs) uses 26 foreign languages to describe differnt uses for the same letters along with 26 color illustrations. All of which are created by the author, they consist of pen and ink, graphite drawings, oil painings, and photographics.
A is for Arbol; (ahr-bohl) which is the Spanish word for Tree.
B is for Bougie; (boo’-she) which is the French word for Candle.
C is for Chalice; (cha-les) which is the Old English word for Goblet.
D is for Diş; (dish) which is the Turkish word for Tooth.

Z is for Zhíshēngjī; (gee-shunc-tee) which is the Chinese word for Helicopter.
My school had a visit from this author. He passed around the book so everyone could see. The book had cool languages I had never heard of before. This is a great Alphabet book for children.
