ARC Review⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5’s

Thank you to the author @marionderewrites for the #gifted e-book.

This holiday novella was such a fun, feel-good read and exactly what I want from a Christmas hockey romance. ❄️✨ Noah and Grace absolutely stole my heart with their second-chance romance, grumpy/sunshine dynamic, and the kind of witty banter that had me smiling the whole time.

Set in England, the festive atmosphere is immaculate—cozy, charming, and full of Christmas magic. The story delivers all the emotions without feeling heavy, making it the perfect seasonal read. I loved how natural the reconnection felt and how the warmth slowly melted years of distance between them.

✨ “My heart swells with a warmth I thought I’d never feel again. And it’s terrifying how right it feels.” ✨

If you’re looking for a short, sweet holiday hockey romance with heart, humor, and all the cozy vibes, this one is such a win.

This was the perfect novella to complete this series. Noah goes home for Christmas and who does his mom invite over for Christmas Eve? None other than Grace, the only woman he ever loved. Grace has also returned home after quitting her job. They spend some time together and quickly realize their feelings for each other never went away. If you’re looking for a sweet novella with all the feels then this is definitely for you. I rate it 5 stars!

I loved reading Noah and Grace’s second chance.

Noah is the cutest British goalie. He comes across as a grump in the previous books in the series, but really he’s just kind of quiet and introverted. It was fun to see him come out of his shell once he’s back home in England. Grace had a lot going on in her life and it was sad to see how people judged her for things they knew nothing about. I loved seeing them together and how easily they fell back into their friendship after so long apart.

It was so refreshing to get an angst-free second chance romance! There was no anger or resentment for the ending of the past relationship. They were both ready to move forward and found a way to do that together.

This second chance, holiday hockey romance has the coziest vibes, swoony kisses, and a lovable cast of characters. I’m sad to see the end of the New York Raptors series, but I can tell there is so much fun reading to come with strong hints at the author’s next main characters.

This was a sweet novella to wrap up the NY Raptors Hockey Romance series, but since I wasn't expecting it to be a novella, I wish we got a little more depth and backstory between the two characters, Grace and grumpy goalie Noah. Besides learning that they were together as teens before he left England for the US to pursue hockey, and that Grace recently left her high pressure lawyer job after having regrets not being there for her father's passing, we didn't really get much from them. But since their breakup was due to circumstances, not a bad situation, they easily fell back together. This served more as a transition piece, introducing Grace's best friend and Noah's brother, who will start off a new soccer romance series.

🦖 Thank you Marion De Ré for a copy of Icebound Reunion

Sweet novella set during the Christmas season for the NY Raptors' goalie Noah.

Noah goes home to England for Christmas and his mom invites his first (and always) love Grace to celebrate with them. Grace has had it a bit rough, losing her dad and quitting her job, but Noah helps to ground her even others shun her.

Noah is strong and the very silent type but he's there for people when it matters. I love how relationship with his mom and better and how much they care for Grace too.

I loved how the end blended with the end of the previous book and we got to see an expansion of that scene. Beautiful story.

We met “Wally” in Just My Puck, but we got his story in this sweet novella when he went home for Christmas in England to spend time with his mom and brother, who is a famous footballer (which I’m sure Marion is going to connect with the previous series). The stoic goalie for the New York Raptors is not as stoic for his lady love, and this was such a sweet, endearing book; highly enjoyable and a good ending for the New York Raptors series.
I received a complimentary ARC from the author for a fair and honest review.

This novella is absolutely adorable. It is a closed door romance but it was a beautiful story to read about Noah and Grace who have a second chance at love. They were childhood besties and when Noah comes home for Christmas, their chemistry comes flooding back and it’s just so cute. This is such a feel good read! I do love that they touched on grief and how difficult it really can be to navigate through when alone.

A warm and witty lovestory with endearing characters and a wonderfully romantic hero (“You’re my forever”). I loved the banter between Grace and Noah!
Although I am sad that this is the last story about the much loved characters of the Raptors, I am excited to read about Archie and Kat next!

A review copy of this book was sent to me by the author. All of the above opinions are my own.

I have been intrigued with the character of Noah throughout the series, often wondering what made him so quiet and contemplative. This book was the perfect way to answer all of my questions, and then some! Love finds a way to bring you home again; absolutely perfect and heartwarming.

I don't know why goalie's tend to be grumpy in hockey rom coms. But I'm here for it. Noah's a grump with a cinnamon roll center. I think he may be my favorite of the raptor's players
