This book is about Alex Harrington, codename Specter.
And Lenora Hale, codename Viper.
Without both of them knowing. They are send to Prague. To find a Broker.
Alex working for one agency. Lenora for another.
When they find each other in Prague. They reluctantly agree to work together.
But, are they there for the Broker?
Or, are they the once who are being followed?

In the beginning it was hard to get into the book.
But the further I came into the story.
The more I understood what was going on.

Code Red blends undercover spy elements with a psychological twist centered around mind control, creating a fast-paced and intriguing read.

The storyline pulls you into a world of secrecy, manipulation, and hidden agendas. The mind control aspect adds an extra layer that keeps you questioning what’s real and what isn’t.

It’s a solid mix of action and psychological suspense that keeps you engaged throughout. If you enjoy stories with espionage and a deeper mental element, this one is definitely worth the read.

For me this was a 3.75 read for me, so rounding up. I enjoyed the chaos of the book jumping from one thing to another. The hidden and unexpected twist was nice. There are some moments that left me confused but I did push through and got answers later.

The author did a phenomenal job of building a story that is different and kept me interested despite sometimes being confused. But hey what would be a point of a spy story if it didn’t challenge your critical thinking reading skills. 😉

High action and suspense

This book was highly intelligent and packed with action. It gives the same vibes as The Bourne series, but with more intelligence and updated technology. It delves into the human psychology and behaviors. If you like fast paced, spy books, this one is for you!
