Hour of the Clown

Rate this book
The plot was spawned in Moscow in the innermost circle of the world's most dreaded intelligence organization. Within a month a vast army of international terrorists was mobilized to zero in on the United States, where fifteen leading figures, starting with Henry Kissinger and Senator "Scoop" Jackson, were targeted for assassination. One man held the key to the success or failure of this monstrous mission- a man whom both East and West believed to be their secret agent- a man whose ultimate loyalty would not be known until the final act of hideous violence.

An exciting espionage thriller with intriguing characters and memorable scenes. Started out slow but built up to a satisfying conclusion.
