I loved this story. The characters are great and I really cared about them. I loved how they met and how their relationship developed as they really got to know one another. I couldn't quit reading.

"The dog was being trained to be her safe place, but it was getting harder for him to pretend that a part of him wanted to be that for Daisy too."
Note to self: Be careful what books you take on your errands with you during the day, or you may find yourself tearing up in public over and over! Lol! Needless to say, 6 stars!
A teacher running from a health scare that lands her teaching in Alaska. A grumpy musher struggling to live up to his family legacy while carrying a family secret. Both are trying to find their footing, and both find their strength in each other and their faith!
Daisy is diagnosed with epilepsy, and after a health scare on the job, she finds herself unable to land another teaching position except in Alaska. It's a leap of faith, but she needs to prove she can still chase her dreams. Travis loves his hometown, his dogs, and his family, but he's always felt the weight of his late father's expectations. Now even more pressure is heaped on his shoulders, making him realize he may have to step outside his comfort zone for the future he wants.
As he encourages Daisy through life with epilepsy and the training of her dog, Magnolia, she encourages him right back. They become such a rock for each other. But Daisy always feels like she's one moment away from a seizure that could send her back home, while Travis fears losing his family's legacy.
These two! The grumpy versus sunshine, Travis's insecurity over never feeling like he's measuring up, and Daisy's health concerns had me on the edge of my seat. I loved the family, the community, and the friendship these two developed. The romance was perfection, and the faith woven throughout the pages was nothing but inspirational.
I loved this so much and it pulled me right out of my reading slump!
I received a complimentary copy. This review reflects my honest opinion.

An Alaskan K-9 Blessing is a heartwarming story that embraces strength, courage, disabilities, and new beginnings. This story teaches an important lesson about facing one’s fears and realizing first impressions cannot always be trusted.
Travis has lived in Snowhaven his entire life. He has also lived under the shadow of his famous father. Daisy has moved to Snowhaven from Georgia after being diagnosed with epilepsy and losing her job. She is hoping for a fresh start and to prove she can make it on her own. Travis just wants to live his own quiet life running his dog sled company that offers tours and mushing experiences to tourists.
After meeting Daisy and learning about her story, he realizes she is everything he tried to convince himself she couldn’t be. As he is faced with a difficult financial situation, he realizes that Daisy’s strength is an encouraging force for him to be stronger and more hopeful, to take the chances he would not have before.
Travis and Daisy try incredibly hard to be strong and independent, but learning that sometimes you need help and support from those around you will forever change their lives.
An Alaskan K-9 Blessing is a wonderful story about overcoming the hard moments and focusing on living life with hope. It also includes an adorable service animal story line that will further warm your heart.
An Alaskan K-9 Blessing is out today and I highly recommend adding this one to your shelf!

Even though I hadn't read the other books in the series or anything else by the author before, I still enjoyed the story and liked the author's writing style. The story was cute and easy to follow and had a great cast of characters. The place settings in the story sounded beautiful and I loved Daisy and Travis's chemistry and I wanted them to have their happy ending. I highly recommended it and I look forward to reading more by the author.

A sweet story about starting over and believing in God.
Daisy has moved to Alaska to start a new teaching job after leaving Georgia. There she meets dog musher Travis and his lead dog Ruby. Daisy has just been matched with service dog-in-training Magnolia. But the difficulties are just starting for both Daisy and Travis. Can they weather these storms together? Or will the storms send Daisy back to her parents in Georgia and Travis back inside himself? Read this to find out.
The pace is engrossing and the tone is uncertain yet hopeful with a character centered storyline that has no steam. The characters are vibrant and endearing. It was good to see Ella and her Helping Hands service dog training center also. She is Travis' sister and was in a previous K-9 Companions story. The Christian ideals are woven into the story and move it along. This is a very sweet story about overcoming challenges and having faith in God. Enjoy.

A grumpy/ sunshine romance that gives you all the warm fuzzies. Daisy moves to Alaska to teach second grade. She invites Travis Grace to visit her class and talk about dog sledding. He is not what she expected and doesn’t follow her lesson plan. He captures the kids hearts by introducing them to his dog Ruby.
Travis wants to help Daisy and becomes her mentor in dog training. Daisy has epilepsy and she gets introduced to Magnolia to be her service animal. It is beautiful to watch how the dog bonds to her and helps her gain confidence. Travis and Daisy build trust and start to fall for each other.
Travis has been living in his dad’s shadow and trying to live up to his legacy. He enters a dog sledding race hoping to put his past behind him. It was beautiful to see the romance bloom and grow and how these two became a couple.

This book is incredible. The cover draws you in and makes you want to get cozy by a warm fire and cuddle that adorable pup. The story line is very heartwarming and keeps you wanting more. I truly felt like I was in Snowhaven Alaska cheering on Travis Grace with Daisy and her students.

LOVED this story!
Author Teri Wilson never disappoints, and this book is no exception. I loved this sweet story following Daisy and Travis, who each had to overcome obstacles and conquer fear in Snowhaven, Alaska. A wonderful, sigh-worthy ending completed this 5-star book that I'm sure I'll be re-reading---that's how much I enjoyed it!

Exceptional Book
I learned that a short book could hold my attention and make a 90+ degree day in August pass lost in the pages written by Teri Wilson. It reminded me of how beautiful Alaska was is in the summer and winter.
