During the day, Ramona gets her own new bedroom, and enjoys it very much. But it is hard to be brave at night when there might be some type of monsters under the bed. There is also a big mean dog she is afraid of that steals her shoes away on her way to school. Throughout the book, pictures and explanations are used for detail and how the book goes, it does a good job of creating a good story line in the book and to show what is going on. The book is very well detailed and explained. aI would rate the book a 5 because I read it growing up and love it, and learned great lessons from the book as a kid. I feel like it would be a great lessons for my students.

Ramona is the 60's Junie B. Jones. My classes enjoyed being read this book and so did my children. Some great teaching ideas in here especially when she throws temper tantrums and when she is late for school because she thinks a quarter past 8 is 8:25 because after all a quarter is 25 cents.Beverly Cleary does a great job of looking at the world through the eyes of a kindergarten age child.

Ms. Cleary created a very realistic character in the person of Ramona Quimby. One that I can all to easily relate to!

This book is the introduction to Ramona as she is entering kindergarten. Great story to read aloud to children. My husband and I enjoyed it much too!
