“Give me the biggest chocolate dick you have!” Smooth, Jenna. Real smooth.
I'm freshly divorced and looking for sweet revenge... until I burst into Bliss and make an ass out of myself. The tattooed mountain of muscle behind the counter is absolutely swoon-worthy, and I can't shake the feeling that I’ve seen him before. My suspicions are confirmed when he says my name—except I have no idea who this hottie is. And it's driving me crazy!
One slow drive home. One soft confession. One night that changes everything.
My ex really did a number on me, and I don't know what it's like to truly be loved. I'm scared, but Oliver has a way of making me feel safe and seen.
Maybe love really is sweeter the second time around—especially when the man holding you knows exactly how to worship every part of your heart… and your body.

This is a great holiday romance focused around Valentine's day. The revenge concept was one of my favorites in this. And I liked the banter between the main characters. There's even moments that had me laughing out loud. Jenna and Oliver are wonderful characters. Loved the storyline. And I'd recommend reading this it's that good of a story.
Elyse Kelly’s “Hot Chocolate Daddy” is an adorable small town Valentine’s Day themed romance that was really fun to read!
The funniest thing is that I’m actually not the biggest fan of the instalove trope, but Elyse Kelly manages to impress me every time I read one of her books.
Our two main characters are the recently divorced Jenna, as well as a man named Oliver, who’s been attracted to Jenna for years but has never made a move.
Jenna and Oliver’s story was absolutely hilarious. I loved their witty banter, and I also thought that they were very well-suited to each other.
I personally think that “Hot Chocolate Daddy” is the perfect read for when you're in the mood for something swoony, spicy, and sweet. To sum this up, I’m so glad I decided to give this book a chance!
I love everything Elyse Kelly writes. Oliver and Jenna's story made me laugh out loud and cry at times. If you are looking for a short, sweet, and an oh so steamy read look no further. You wouldn't be disappointed.
I love the way Oliver has always pined for Jenna. And the way he shows her everything she's been missing is better than 'chef's kiss' good...It is Chocolateer Great. Short, sweet, and oh so spicy.

I love Elyse, her books make me smile and kick my feet. Hot Chocolate Daddy is no different, 5 stars and when I need a pick me up and a quick daddy vibe hit I know where I'm coming to get it because rereading Elyse's work is a must
Hot Chocolate Daddy is exactly what I needed to read this morning before the madness of the day.

ARC Review of Hot Chocolate Daddy by Elyse Kelly * * * * * When getting back at your ex may be the best decision you can make, not only do you get a great gift but also a hot chocolate artist who is happy to help in more ways than one.
Jenna wasn't an overly petty person, but after giving her high school sweet heart and former husband 10 years of her life to only have it all end when he can't keep his pants on...yes, she wants him to choke. Gag. Suck on a d**k. Which sounds like a great idea when she storms into the chocolate maker's store demanding the biggest one has with a side of evil. She never expected the humourous, handsome Oliver. A former school mate invisible next to her popularity, a geeky artist who hid in corners and was silent on his crush towards the pretty cheerleader. As they spend time together, it appears there is more than one reason they are happy to spend time around each other...and this one isn't made out of chocolate.
Loved the humour, loved all the inuendos and weenie jokes, gave me lots of laughts. The attraction is so hot that it would melt choclate and compete with ghost pepper glaze. The petty revenge was great, it really inspired me to be so...giving.
4.5⭐️ Sweet, steamy and a hint of petty revenge, what could be better in a Valentines book?! Oliver was definitely giving the best Daddy vibes and he really leaned into it with Jenna. He was exactly what she needed, a steady and calming presence while also someone who was going to take care of her and prove that she was deserving of love. This was kind of a second chance, pining since kids on Oliver’s end but his glow up made him unrecognizable. I loved that the nerdy guy finally got the cheerleader! Lite Daddy kink, but more of a calling him that and him making sure she’s taken care of vs a full DD/lg. The ending seemed open ended though and like it wasn’t quite finished. No cliffhangers per se, but also no real closure on their HEA. It’s kind of implied that they do, but felt like it needed to be longer. No cheating or OW drama, slight OM drama with the ex husband but it was super satisfying, dual POV, and a cute date night epilogue. Can’t wait to read Officer Jace and Mia’s book!
Ahh this book had me laughing a sighing! I love unrequited love in which the nerdy/good guy gets the girl he loved in high school. This is Oliver and Jenna’s story that had me swooning. You got to love Jenna who goes into a candy shop and shouts the object she wants made to give her ex. From there on out, the story continues to get better. I needed this read the day I read it as it turned my day around. Oliver sat behind Jenna in high school but was into arts and drawing. Jenna was the cheerleader who married her high school sweetheart and they are no recently divorced. Oliver has changed greatly since his high school days and Jenna doesn’t recognize him at first. Loved how the story goes from there but I don’t want to ruin it for anyone. Jenna catches her Hot Chocolate Daddy HEA
*Hot Chocolate Daddy* by Elyse Kelly is the third book in the fun *Seven Nights to Mr. Right* series. I couldn’t stop laughing at Jenna and her hilarious chocolate revenge surprise for her ex-husband at his workplace—such a clever idea!
Oliver, who’s a chocolatier, has finally chased his dream of opening a shop back in his hometown, and guess what? He's getting a chance with his high school crush! The playful banter between Jenna and Oliver is absolutely charming and kept me giggling. And let’s not forget Oliver’s flirty, spicy moments; they definitely add some heat to their connection!
This book is a delightful, quick read that’s perfect for an afternoon of relaxation. Enjoy!
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Elyse Kelly is known for her short and spicy novellas. And I’ve just about devoured most of them. Hot Chocolate Daddy has arrived just in time for Valentine’s Day, with Oliver, who is all kinds of sweet. A former quiet nerd back in high school who no one noticed is now all grown up in all the right places. Oliver now has a chance with the girl he sat behind and crushed on, Jenna, who is recently divorced.
Jenna’s character is a blast—incredibly relatable. I adored her. And I adored Oliver as well. The spice was hot. Hot Chocolate Daddy is the perfect story to make your Valentine's perfect, too!
Thank you to Author Elyse Kelly for the gifted e-copy. I am leaving this review voluntarily.
After wasting a decade with her cheating ex Jenna wants revenge and what better way than to send him a chocolate object that he will never forget. When she meets the owner of the chocolate shop he remembers her even if she doesn’t remember him.
Oliver has evolved from the nerdy teenager that Jenna used to know to a swoony man he is now. He isn’t disappointed that Jenna doesn’t remember him, but he is determined to finally have a chance with the woman he has always wanted.
From their reunion the story finds the perfect balance between humor and heat as Oliver shows Jenna how she deserves to be treated.
When the skinny boy from high school is all grown up ♥️
Jenna has a Bridget Jones moment in a chocolate shop while feeling traumatized by her ex-husband. This leads to the second chance of a lifetime when the chocolatier, Oliver agrees to help her with the “gift” 🍆. Oliver is the perfect guy and loves her for who she is and even though her self esteem is a bit in the toilet because of her ex. It was a totally great, steamy, quick read but then, stopped abruptly. Needed an epilogue so badly😥. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Valentine's Day romance. Jenna has just broken up with her boyfriend of ten years after discovering his infidelity. Throughout their relationship, he did nothing but cheat on her. So, to get revenge, she decides to have a huge chocolate penis delivered to his workplace. Oliver is back in his small hometown to open a chocolate shop. He certainly didn't expect to find his childhood crush asking for the biggest chocolate penis. Will Jenna remember Oliver, and will Oliver be able to convince Jenna to give him a chance…
Hot Chocolate Daddy is a sweet and steamy Valentine’s-themed romance that delivers on heartwarming tropes and a fun small-town vibe. The chemistry between the leads is enjoyable, and the emotional beats hit the expected notes for a feel-good love story. However, the plot leans heavily on familiar clichés and instalove pacing, which may feel a bit predictable if you’re looking for deeper character development or surprises. It’s an easy, spicy read that’s entertaining in the moment, but it doesn’t linger long after the last page.
This book is part of a multi author series called Seven Nights To Mr. Right. Jenna is newly divorced after being with her high school sweetheart for 10 years. Oliver owns a new chocolate business when he sees Jenna again the girl he has loved for years. I laughed when Jenna went into the chocolate place yelling for a particular kind of chocolate. Oliver may have blended in at school but now he's confident and ready to be the man Jenna deserves. A fun enjoyable read with entertaining interactions.
Jenna and Oliver - oh my gosh guys I just adored these two so freaking much. What a fun read and so perfect, especially with Valentine’s Day right around the corner. What you get - two characters with off the charts chemistry , who are so likable and relatable, all the spicy and sweet moments you get ever ask for , angst , humor and witty banter . Moments that will pull on all your heartstrings and have you smiling, laughing, crying and cheering, second chances , a little bit of drama and revenge . I genuinely could not devour this story fast enough.
I thoroughly enjoyed this quick novella from a new to me author.
This follows FMC Jenna a newly divorced woman and MMC Oliver, a Master Chocolatier. Jenna and Oliver meet again when she barges into his shop to order a very specific chocolate surprise for her ex-husband for Valentine's Day. This part made me laugh. Jenna doesn't realize at the time, but she went to school with Oliver and he has always had a crush on her.
Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this arc @authorelysekelly
When Jenna orders a surprise gift for her nasty ex-husband, she gets a nice surprise herself in the shape of Oliver, the chocolate shop owner. When fate brings them together she realises that he was the geeky boy in her year at school who is now a gorgeous, ripped and sexy hunk of a man who wants nothing more than to care for her and make her feel loved and cherished the way she deserves. I loved this short read. The story was good, the characters were loveable and the nasty ex got his just desserts – literally! Another winner from Elyse with a HEA and a good dollop of heat.
I loved Oliver and Jenna’s connection, even though Jenna didn’t recognize Oliver now they have a great connection and both crave the other. I am so happy that Jenna got rid of her ex husband because he was a total jerk and didn’t deserve her. Oliver has been in love with her for years and now he has grown up and filled out to the strong and wonderful man he is now. I am so glad that they saw each other again because that is when their story began. I recommend this book to everyone who loves a romance story with some snark and some real feels.
I’m actually giving this book 4.5 stars (the half mark deduction is for the many uses of ‘daddy’, just not my thing, sorry). The book was sweet and spicy, I finished it in a couple of hours, yet it didn’t feel rushed as short stories often can. I loved Jenna and Oliver as a couple, they were sweet and funny together and he treated her perfectly. I was gifted an ARC of this book by Elyse, and am leaving this review voluntarily.
This was a fun, steamy light hearted Valentine's romance that gives you so much satisfaction if you've ever been the survivor of a crummy relationship with someone not worth your time. Oliver has been in love with Jenna FOR YEARS and has watched her make poor relationship choices. When life puts her in his path in the form of procuring a revenge edible body part gift 🤣, these two explode with chemistry. Oliver is exactly the man Jenna had always needed and it finally time he showed her 😍!
Jenna Howard is putting her life back together after her divorce. Oliver Jacobson is now a chocolatier and owns Bliss.
Oliver and Jenna meet again. Oliver is way different from the nerd she knew in high school. Jenna’s ex Booby is going to get a surprise for Valentine’s Day. Can Oliver and Jenna with their attraction and chemistry finally get their Happily Ever After? You will have to read this book to find out.
If you need some sweetness, swagger and sizzle for Valentine’s Day…this is the book. Jenna walks into Bliss wanting “an anatomically ambitious” gift for her cheating ex-husband and gets so much more. I laughed, yeah, even snorted, sniffled, fanned myself and dreamed of a “hot chocolate daddy” for myself. Oliver was decadent perfection. I received an advanced copy of this book and this is a voluntary review. Loved every minute of this yummy book.
Hot Chocolate Daddy by Elyse Kelly is a part of the Seven Nights to Mr. Right series. This book is a short, sweet and spicy Valentines story. I absolutely loved this storyline and dynamics between our MCs. If you have read any of Elyse's work prior than you already know how Amazing her work is and how she always leaves you wanting more. If you haven't then you are missing out and should run to grab her work now. I absolutely recommend this book if your looking for a Valentines short story.
Being alone for Valentine's Day isn't the worst thing. Dealing with a tw@twaffle ex, that is worse. Storming into the new chocolate shop in town demanding a giant d*ck, might send you into hibernation for the rest of the winter. But when the chocolatier is the nerdy kid from high school all grown up and all filled out, maybe things are looking up for the holiday after all.
Before reading, make sure you stretch, hydrate, and 😏 charge up because you will be reading one handed.
In this book you're really gonna be rooting for Her instead of her ex
Throughout this whole book I was rooting for her her ex was such a jerk. When I feel this strongly about it I know I've read a book by a good author. She makes the characters come to life And it's about stuff that really happens. I picked this book because it was a valentine's gift and And it's a romantic time of the year. The story is short but it is complete with a beginning and a middle and an end.
So a girl walks into a chocolate shop to order a revenge present for her ex…
This is how Jenna connects with Oliver, the owner of the chocolate shop.
And it is oh so scrumptious!
They get knee deep in spicy hotness with marshmallows on top. Oliver is the ideal man to help Jenna see what she's been missing.
I love them together. They are everything. This has comedy and light-hearted moments oozing throughout and I just love it!! I just loved this sweet and tasty read. It was so much fun!!
It’s not every day a woman bursts into a chocolatier yelling that she wants the biggest dick they have. Which is why I keep coming back to Elyse’s books. Her writing is so refreshing and she keeps surprising us with new ways for characters to get their “meet cute”.
Oliver and Jenna are both great characters with great chemistry. I love Jenna’s sense of adventure and how Oliver is happy to go along for the ride. They deserve their HEA.
Wow I love this story, perfect for Valentines Day. I love that, for a change, Oliver is the chocolatier and owner of the chocolate shop. Jenna is the crush from high school getting over a very bad divorce. Love the interaction between these two characters. If you want the perfect Valentines story, with lots of hot loving then this is for you.
