El Retorno del Anticristo y el Nuevo Orden Mundial

Rate this book
“Patrick, yo devoré a tu libro en dos días y me siento impulsado a decir lo bien escrito que está, y te felicito por tus investigaciones. Gracias nuevamente por tu libre excelente” - Tim LaHaye acerca del libro anterior de Patrick Heron, “The Nefilim and the Pyramid of the Apocalypse” (“Los Nefilim y la Pirámide del Apocalipsis”).

Masterful Study and Speculative Breakdown of Bible Prophecies regarding the Coming Anti-Christ
The subject of the Anti-Christ--a Biblical term for the anticipated future sinister world leader who is predicted to be a master of deception, a mastermind of diplomacy and war, a counterfeit of Christ, and the physical incarnation of a fallen angel among mankind--has long been a topic of Bible Prophecy scholars, Bible students, churchmen, and authors. The Anti-Christ idea and character has also become a fixture of pop culture, Hollywood movies, and all sorts of popular fiction from album covers featuring the number 666 to horror and dystopian novels. But the Anti-Christ is a deadly serious reality among end-times characters and must be understood to fully grasp what the scriptures say about the future and what it means to all of us.
Patrick Heron is the author of three books on Bible prophecy and numerous video documentaries distributed via DVD or on the internet. His take on the Anti-Christ stays close to scripture, which means he often has a fresh take in contrast to other prophecy "scholars" who tend to repeat content from other authors. Heron also looks at classical content such as Egyptian myth and non-canonical scriptures such as the Book of Enoch to shed light on some obscure Biblical concepts. This is helpful because all scripture--especially eschatology--must be viewed through a Middle East lens lest we fall into the trap of missing the obvious. Yet Heron is not afraid to employ logic to dismiss the most ridiculous speculations of other Bible prophecy authors. For example, he completely rejects an idea put forth in the 80s that old Babylon in Iraq was going to be rebuilt and is the mystery Babylon of Revelation. I will let you read the book for his position on the true identity of Mystery Babylon but he takes a position I have believed for years.
I am in full agreement with Heron on many subjects in his books. But I recognize there exists enough room for different points of view on some eschatology. So not all readers will agree with his conclusions. Nevertheless, Bible Prophecy is too important to ignore as so many Biblical prophecies have been fulfilled.
This book is highly, highly recommended to anyone with an interest in prophecy, the Bible, and/or the other more esoteric material in this book regarding details about the Giza Pyramid or the Book of Enoch, two subjects that I believe every Christian should look into. READ. THIS. BOOK.
And be blessed...

I found the information relevant, honest, and eye-opening. There were occasions where I questioned the interpretations and/or spirit of the occasional comment, but I would be worried if I didn't question ANYTHING in the text.

A soul stirring and thought provoking read!

The late Patrick Heron certainly did his homework here. You may not agree with all of his conclusions, but you will be blessed and challenged as you read this work. It would be time well spent.

I am a fan of the late-Patrick Heron, a poet, theologian, and historian. His seminal book, "Apocalypse Soon" (1997) was followed by "The Apocalypse Generation" (1999), and "The Nephilim and the Pyramid of the Apocalypse" (2004). This book, "Return of the Anti-Christ and the New World Order" (2010) was his last book before his death in 2014.

His insight and his fluid lively writing style make his books stand out.

This book is incredibly dated at this point, and as with all texts that use interpretations of the Bible as the basis of their research, it is obviously subjective and driven by its own particular biases, but it was still well-researched, well-written, and intriguing to read.

This is an excellent book for those who are seeking enlightenment on the end times according to God's Word! Dr. Heron does not waver from God's Word one bit! He adheres to the prophecies written within the Bible, but he gives his expert opinion on the meaning therein. The author has a great deal of education on the Bible and is a Biblical Scholar and has an education in theology. This allows him to provide insight on many baffling mysteries written therein and give his expertise. Dr. Patrick Heron explains this according to the Word of the Bible. For me, the book of Revelation has always been a difficult one to understand. Dr. Heron breaks everything down, and it makes so much sense! He highlights the identity of the antichrist according to the Bible, and he elaborates on the fallen angels and hybrids that are spoken of many times throughout the Word. This book explains all of these things and much, much more! He also tells us that there is a way out of this mess. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for answers. It is a very excellent read, but there is a lot to digest throughout this book. A person may be inclined (because it is such a good read) to continue from start to finish without interruption, but I recommend going slowly throughout your reading. I highly recommend this book! In fact, I have ordered another book by this same author!

Most end-time prophecy books I generally pass over since I regard them all as speculation at best. While this one is also speculation, I bought it because when browsing through it, I noticed that the author had a lot of references to the Book of Enoch in it. The book of 1st Enoch, (which I read last year - see my review here on Goodreads) was written sometime in the 300 years BC and is the only pseudepigraphical book directly quoted in the New Testament - in the Epistle of Jude verses 14-15. Heron paints a truly horrifying view of the coming apocalypse - quite fascinating. As many others have preached and written, Heron writes that you can escape the wrath to come by believing and trusting in Jesus, who will rapture all true Christians off of planet Earth before all hell breaks loose and the Antichrist appears. Make of all this what you will, current events in the Middle East do not look promising.

For an "honest" review and thoughts, I have to say that most of this isn't something that I can understand. Some pieces make since and others were mostly to me, rambling. Someone smarter than I am may have a better time with the book.

He doesn't come out and name the coming "beast from the abyss", but he does go into explaining many details and events that will be taking place during the time of the Revelation. His writing is straight forward and does take you through the "Bible" to understanding of what to look for. It even explains the individual characteristics of the AntiChrist.

These are the things that are and will be in the book of Revelations.
