Tugs on your heartstrings
Alex continues trying to make a new life for herself on her own terms. Even when she’s summoned to return to the palace, she takes a stand. We also learn so much more about Jasper as he learns more about his own self. The palace intrigue continues to provide fodder for the intrepid newspaper reporter as her own life becomes more complicated. Terrific storytelling and interesting characters make this an excellent read!

I loved Jasper’s back story.
I like how the author gives you background on each of the characters and develops them through the series. I am enjoying this story, and I am afraid I’m hooked.
