I love how each book literally picks up exactly where the last finished, as if it were just a page turn and onto the rest of the story. It really helps keep the reader engaged and the story flowing!
WOW this was action packed. It had spice (3🌶️/5) it had heartbreak, it had reconciliation, it had purpose, it had determination. It had a little bit of everything!
Our sweet, determined Tessa. She is a total lover, and wants to see the good / be the good in all ways. However, that cliffhanger is leaving a bit more to be determined if her sweetness has a side of darkness too? 👀
Neil’s entire world shifted, between accepting Tessa as his, to Naomi, and the truth of the court’s brainwashing, our grumpy guardian has had a rough go. Now, with more betrayals surrounding him, I have no idea how he will get out of his current predicament.
The found family trope is so beautifully written in these books, and their family just continues to grow. I’m glad Tessa was able to keep her promise to her Mom, that she found Carson, and get again escaped the skath devilry multiple times, but again with that cliffhanger.. Will she do it all? Can she? Only time will tell! I can’t wait to see how Tessa’s and Neil’s stories come to a climax with the final book coming next!

As always why do you do this to me? The cliff hangers of these books are insane. I am usually not well afterwards.
I love the momentum of these books, they flow so well. But I feel like there are also so, so many losses like they cannot get a win or a break. I am feeling frustrated for Tessa, Neil and their group. I hope that we at least get a few longer last wins in the coming up books!
Their growth, both Neil and Tessa, are really good and are at the right times. It's a slow growth but you can see it from the second book and on! Neil is getting better and better and getting more in touch with his feelings and working through them with his Guardian past. I love that he still struggles a little bit but he wants to move forward.
Tessa just continues to grow and grow into her powers. I feel like we don't know enough of the prophecy or at least more details of it, like something is missing? but these dark moments? Where are they coming from? Like does this happen with all fae/half-fae who pull from the earth or does this have to do with something from her heritage? I have sooo many questions.
But this book series just continues to be great! and I am very excited to see where we go from here!

4.5 ⭐️ (I may have read this whole book in one sitting)
I genuinely don’t know how she does it, but these books just keep getting better and better. This is definitely my favorite in the series so far.
I love that each book picks up exactly where the last one left off. Neil and Tessa’s relationship continues to grow stronger, and watching their bond deepen has been one of the most satisfying parts of this series. They truly had me kicking my feet.
Az and Tessa are also getting closer as their magic strengthens, and I’m very invested in how that dynamic continues to evolve. I especially love how their found family keeps expanding.
While there were fewer skaith attacks, there were moments that genuinely devastated me, balanced with some incredibly sweet ones that reminded me why I love these books so much.
And I really thought we might escape without a cliffhanger this time. Everything felt almost too happy with less than ten pages left, and I should have known better. Heather does not play.

I wish I could give this one more stars ⭐️ for the 4th book in the series Heather does a phenomenal job of keeping the suspense building, the character development growing, and the twists oh the twist, let’s just say I couldn’t put it down.
All our favorites return, along with some new ones that are going to make this journey/ prophecy so much more entertaining. Okay not all entertaining. I had laugh out loud moments, 2nd hand embarrassment moments (yes those can happen while reading), moments of it’s about time, and heart stopping moments.
Heather brings it this book! Teressa and Neil’s group of misfits are so worth reading. Especially if you love world building, found family, finding one’s self, spice, animals that are honestly smarter than their counterparts 😂. A series that keeps you wanting more! You do have to start with book one, but don’t worry these are being released relatively fast so you don’t have to wait long for book 5🩷

You know how dessert is always the best part of any meal?? Well, that's how I feel about this author's stories! The ending always has the most twisty of surprises, leaving me desperate for the next installment. Yes, there's action, found family and magic but the conclusion never misses the sweet spot for me.
Tessa and Neil have changed so much since book one and that growth has been wonderfully satisfying to follow. Neil was a pebble in my shoe for quite a while but now I appreciate his single mindedness and strength. Tessa still takes too many risks for my blood pressure but watching her selfless use of magic warms my heart.
There were emotion filled scenes in abundance, some hints at nefarious deeds and some new and interesting (or 'interesting' 🙄) characters this time around, all of which brought plenty of energy to each page.
This really is a series to keep readers on the edge of their seats.

Another cliffhanger… 😕 I received this book as an ARC, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
In this stage of the story, Neil and Tessa continue on their journey, and along the way they learn more about the struggles that continue to plague their group. The skath are growing in strength and learning new ways to defeat all who cross their path. New friends and foes, and a long lost relative make for interesting scenes in the story line. There really is never a dull moment with Heather D Grace’s characters! The growth and development of each of the main characters and new character introductions are done so well, I just want to jump into the story and go on this journey with them! I have so many questions after how this one ended, and so can’t wait for the next books.
Without giving too many spoilers away- I’ll just say read this! You won’t regret it! And now I sit and wait patiently for the next instalment!

But they keep running into problems that always leaves them afraid of failing.
During one said mission, we lose someone close to Neil. And seeing them react to that was heartbreaking.
Tessa also meets someone she never thought she would come across ever. And we learn more about him & his relationship with Tessa.
Tessa & Neil’s relationship progresses as well & it was so nice to see him finally give in to her.
And she is also becoming far more confident in her healing abilities….her mom, yeah that was a tear jearker.
That cliffhanger though was. Of what I was expecting & now I can’t wait for what comes next & how Tessa will handle it.

Wheeewwww, boy this book did NOT disappoint! Just when I was getting comfy with the series, Heather breaks away from the expected. I am LIVING for this story! I never want to stop spending time in this amazing world that she's built, wrapped up in epic characters, swoony romance, high-stakes battles... *lovesick sigh*
This is also the most intense emotional journey of the bunch. There's no doubting that things are ramping up for the finale, and I am positively breathless with anticipation! I knew from book 1 that this series would be fabulous, but the depth of everything the author has built... I just... I have no words.

I was happy to be back in Tessa and Neil’s world even if I’m backing away from romantasy this year. Of course, since I’ve already read the first three, I had to read the next, right?!? We landed at the beginning of the book right where we left off with the third, and that was right in the middle of a tense scene. The end left us in a terrible pickle, and I am not very happy with how things went down for poor Tessa and Neil especially since it’ll be a little bit before I can find out what happens. This latest is a great addition to the equally great series, and fans of this author and series are sure to be well-pleased. Recommend. Beautifully written with detailed imagery that brings the story to life in your mind, emotions riding on a wild rollercoaster, as the incredible journey unfolds. Tessa finds truth in her mother’s stories told as a child, which leads to an unforgettable storyline of breathholding suspense and nail biting, action packed scenarios. The slow buildup of forbidden love, and intense battles scenes will keep you gripping at the edge of your seat. The characters are very relatable and will have you cheering them on in this epic, magical journey of prophecy, destiny and healing.

This book has action from the beginning. It continues Tessa and Neil story. They are trying to find the unicorns and finish the prophecy. The skath are still trying to get something and still attacking. Tessa meets new friends and helps rescue some during this book. It has action, spice, and lots of fantasy elements in it. I love reading these books. They are quick easy reads and are so interesting from the start. If you like fantasy, romance, fae, and more, then you will like this series!

This book from start to finish will have you truly on your feet. There really is no safe spot to have to pause on. Tessa and Neil never have a moment to breathe and truly breathe. When you feel that they are going to get a short break, boom, something is happening.
This book took me through the emotions due to multiple events that came into play. Found family, death of a loved one, reuniting of a family, leaving for more danger….
Just anything and everything can happen, do not get comfortable.

This is the fourth book of the Hidden Courts of the Fae. As the series has developed, we've grown to love the FMC, MMC and new characters that have been introduced throughout each book. Court of Earth and Sky takes you on an emotional journey of love, loss, reunions, betrayal, and sacrifice.
As Tessa and Neil get one step closer to fulfilling the prophecy, their enemies are also gaining strength and is making the journey incredibly difficult.
This book ended on one crazy cliffhanger and I can't wait to see how this series ends!

Holy cow, dang what a twist and turns of the events on what has occurred within the fourth book of the series. I laughed, screamed, cheered and cried all throughout the entire process of reading this book. Thank you to the author for letting me have an arc copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review! Get your copy when it releases into the wild and read the series now! I definitely recommend this book series 100%!

Sigh. I want more of this story now. I laughed; I cried; I screamed and I blushed. Every book leaves me wanting more and I just love the character growth as well as the story building. I definitely recommend reading the prequel just before this one so that you understand the story better. I can’t wait to read the next book. Hurry up!

Tears were shed, which means 5 stars are incoming! I love this series so much, and I don't want it to end! I love how each book picks up immediately where the previous one ends, and I can't get enough of these characters! This book will also give you all the emotions - from crying one moment, to both cringing and cackling the next. I can't wait to see what happens next and if my guess is even remotely close!

I have been keeping up with this series from the beginning. I’m invested in the story and the characters. I have watched it develop over time. That being said, this one felt like filler. They go back and forth a bunch. It wasn’t a short book, but the amount they accomplished was frustrating. There was also loss that felt purposeless which added to the frustration. I am ready for it to all get wrapped up. Fingers crossed the next will give us the happily ever after we are craving.

This is the next instalment in the series and it picks up where the last book left off. We get the fast pace, tension and action of the previous books but this one also hit more emotionally, which I was not prepared for. We have another brutal cliffhanger ending and the wait is on for the next book.

Surprise ending! Great book! I loved being around Carson again! This book was definitely pleasing and emotionally destroying at the same time! Perfection! If you need a gritty, urban fantasy romance, check out this wonderful series!

The emotional rollercoaster this book takes you on is out of control! So many twists and turns. The emotional turmoil I’m feeling after this book is unreal. Such a good book, cannot wait for the next one!!
