This is the trilogy of Miles's series that begins with,
Acapulco Adventure: Deeann and her coworker Brenda, ticket agents for WestAir in Seattle, Washington have planned a vacation to the resort destination, Acapulco Mexico. Problem is everything seems to go wrong. Mark, the pilot Deeann is dating breaks up with her, and then learns Brenda invited handsome WestAir pilot, Greg to go with them—what happened to their ‘girl-only’ time? Deeann’s suitcase gets left behind, and her only clothing is ruined by a spilled drink on the flight. Acapulco Adventure
Deeann’s pilot boyfriend, Mark, just broke up with her and moved on pretty quickly. Even though she doesn’t want to, Deeann goes on a vacation to Acapulco with her best friend Brenda and the guy Brenda invited to go with them at the last minute, sexy Greg, a fellow pilot who knows Mark. Everything goes wrong for Deeann on this trip. From lost luggage, to red wine on her blouse to a possible stalker. Seriously, this poor girl can’t catch a break. But things always look up, especially when romance blooms when she least expects it.
I love the author’s writing style, everything flowed, and I can’t wait to read more!

Holiday Heart
Brenda goes to a friend’s wedding and runs into her ex-boyfriend. Blake broke up with her six years ago and she has pined for him ever since. He pursues her and she doesn’t understand why since she thought he wanted nothing to do with her. Even Blake doesn’t know why he keeps contacting her after he ignored her for so long he just feels compelled to be with her again.
Although well-written in third person POV, I had trouble connecting with the characters. Miscommunications played a major role in the book since they didn’t talk about their feelings or why their relationship ended until after they started to date again. Some of their actions just seemed childish to me.
Anyway, I loved the scenery descriptions. I’ve always wanted to visit Washington State and I thought the details were extraordinary. I enjoyed the story overall but I wish the author would have expanded the characters’ back-stories. I wanted to learn more about them and what made them tick, other than each other. I hope Ms. Miles writes more about this couple. That’s likely since I’m sure there will be a third story in the future. I’ll keep my fingers crossed!

Perfect Pair
Amber loses her paralegal job and fancy Seattle apartment in one big whoosh. Her parents store her furniture but she wants to get back on her feet ASAP. She takes a job in northern Washington to housesit a few pets but she didn’t plan on barnyard animals who needed special food and medication. She learns a lot from a sexy Ferrier named Mick that all the women in the area go gaga over. Amber treats him like a normal guy and Mick is relieved by her genuine niceness. He uses the animals as a rouse to get close to her and romance blossoms. Amber then listens to idle gossip by a few jealous women who want Mick and that misunderstanding then threatens to tear apart their new relationship.
This is book 3 in the series. Brenda, the heroine from the previous book, is Amber’s future sister-in-law. Although they didn’t get along before, they do now and their friendship was fun to read about.
The pacing of the story flowed and I enjoyed the author’s writing style.

This story leaves you smiling on so many levels. Amber goes from Paralegal to house/pet sitting on a mini farm after losing her job in the big city. The only problem is, she knows nothing about cats, dogs, horses, goats and cows. But with the help of a local teen and handsome farrier she is soon able to care for the animals and develop a relationship at the same time. The author did a good job incorporating the challenges of taking on such a chore both with the animals and the charming country boy.

First time in print for Acapulco Adventure and now all three books in the series are together: Acapulco Adventure, Holiday Heart and Perfect Pair. The common link is Brenda, who works as a ticket agent for WestAir airlines at Seattle Washington airport, Sea-Tac.
The first story is Deeann's, the second is Brenda's and the third, Amber's, brings all three of them together.
