Hmmm not quite. Ty and Milan should have built a stronger bond before Dai came back into the picture because even at ninety percent their chemistry still wasn’t hitting like that. It didn’t feel raw.
Then the gender inconsistency took me out. At one point Dai says she found out around five months she was having a boy, and later the author writes that she refused to know the gender at every appointment. Every appointment is crazy because what does that even mean. It was sloppy and noticeable.
Chantra added absolutely nothing to the story. Her being linked to Frost didn’t do a thing for the plot. Mav falls for her then what?!
Book 1 had a good setup, but this one was crowded with villains without giving us anything impactful. Ashley, Chan, Frost, Daija. Too many snakes and not enough drama that actually changed the storyline. I eventually skimmed Channy’s parts because her and Mav were boring, and I kept wondering why Mav even had a POV if the author wasn’t going to do anything meaningful with him.
Ty should have been introduced much earlier or the books should’ve been longer because something is missing here.
Hopefully book 3 is the one that makes up for this because this wasn’t it.

WHAT THE....
Oh its' about to get real messy now. Milan and Maverick can't catch a break. Just when things with Milan seem to get back to normal with work and starting his legacy with Tylissa, his past shows up and not alone. Maverick is dealing with a scorned fling who is out for revenge while seeking new interest in Channy. I'm so tired of Fabian, he will not win the fight he so desperately wants with Milan and Maverick. As more revelations come out I believe Fabian and anyone who is associated with him is about to feel a wrath like no other. Can't wait to read how things end.

Ok so P. Wise and I need a chat!!!! That cliffhanger?!?!?!?
Ty seems so sweet and loving, and the connection that is being shared between her and Milan, the unspoken feelings, you can feel it building, but they’re both navigating tough times so I would call it a bit of a slow burn between them, but the issue now is, will Ty and Milan have their happy ending? That cliffhanger PMO real bad!! Channy is weird to me, but she was doing what she needed, I can’t say she shouldn’t have risked everything by telling the twins the truth and expecting her family’s protection against Frost, but damn it was just a crazy situation to be in all together 🫣🥴 And speaking of that crazy MF Frost. Omggg he is GRIMEY!! What possessed this dummy to even think about doing the shit he did! You really have to be stupid to mess with these twins, lmao. Oh, and don’t even get me started on Ashley!!! I would’ve TAKEN HER THRU DERE right on up outta DERE!! Gmfu, are you cool???

I can't say that I'm happy that Caiman is back home, but I'm happy that she and the baby is safe!!!...
Just when everyone was happy that Th is now pregnant, a new baby is on the doorstep!!!...
I truly hope Milan don't mislead Daija in thinking they will get back together, but she is NOT loyal!!!...
How long is it going to take for Maverick to find out that Channy is related to Frost!!!...
Greed is going to lead Frost right into that fire he is aware of and he knows those brothers are not going to be playing with him!!!...

SHE DID IT AGAIN!
I loved this book, Ms P Wise has done it again! This book captivated me from the first chapter and kept me hooked till I finished . Milan was struggling so much in this book and he really just wanted something to be for him. Something he doesn’t have to question or worry will cross him later , Ty was everything he didn’t know he needed . She was peace he craved , the balm to mend the cracked pieces that Dai left behind. And she was willing to pass that on to him by carrying his baby.. can’t wait to see what will come of it !!! We let P cook and she gave us a FEAST ! ❤️🔥❤️🔥

OMG
This book is everything!!!!! I knew that joker was still alive. And I didn’t like Maria either. You can just get vibes of ill intent. I am glad that Ty and Milan were finding their footing and trying to be friends. I am hoping that just because Daija has materialized that will not hinder Ty and Milan’s friendship or situationship. I like the idea of Mav and Channy and think they could be good together. However, as soon as Mav finds out that she knew that joker Daija was alive and who she is connected to… It’s not going to end well for her… Whew onto book 3.
