Such an adorable and sweet book! Has such an important lesson learning it’s okay to be scared but it just takes one little moment to meet a new friend, and that is exciting!

This book, Addie Needs a Friend, is written by Andrew Lott in a rhyme scheme. The main character, Addie, is starting school and she is nervous to make a new friend. The kids already seems to know one another, which feels intimidating to little Addie. But by lunchtime, a little girl with pigtails approaches Addie and new friendship is formed. Make the time to add this one to your collection. It is perfect for littles who are starting school or changing schools.

“Addie needs a Friend” is a well written picture book by Andrew Lott and illustrated by Amanda Letcher. Addie is new to school and she feels all alone. Will it stay that way or will it be different? Great picture book for young children starting school. I highly recommend it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
