Live Fully in Him: Developing Ways to...

Rate this book
When I began writing this book I wanted to title it, The Life You Always Wanted, but you can want and never achieve that life. So I finally chose Live Fully in Him, because if you are not following Christ, it’s impossible to life fully! If He is walking with you, it is achievable. I have people ask me quite often why my life is so great! I have several answers and need more than just a minute to let them know, thus this book.
So read this book, my friend. Continue heading toward the life you always wanted; a life lived fully in Him. Develop good practices and guardrails to keep you on track. Your story is not over. Your hope is not gone. Perhaps this book will help demonstrate to you the goodness of God as He leads you into the next chapter. Even though you may be in the fire, hang on. God is perhaps leading you through the trials, as He did me, toward showing you how to…live fully in Him…

In a world that often demands perfection and harbors resentment, finding a path to true peace can feel overwhelming. Live Fully in Him by Sandy Sheaffer serves as a powerful antidote to this cultural exhaustion. Rooted deeply in Scripture, the book offers a refreshing, biblically grounded roadmap for understanding God’s core character and learning how to align our daily lives with His divine design, through her real life lived experiences.
What makes this book stand out is its practical emphasis on living fully in God’s way. The author avoids the trap of legalism, instead framing obedience as a joyful response to God’s love rather than a burden. By anchoring every piece of advice in specific biblical narratives and commands, the book challenges readers to examine their habits, thought patterns, and priorities. It acts as both a mirror for self-reflection and a window into a life driven.
It is a timely reminder that living God's way is the only path to true abundance. This book deserves a spot on every believer's nightstand and will undoubtedly spark vital conversations in small groups and Bible studies alike, with the Companion Guide provided thought provoking questions.

I enjoyed this book very much. I read a chapter each day because I wanted to digest what I was reading. I liked that the chapters were divided by issues relevant for certain things going on in my life or that of someone I know, making it easy to go back to find certain topics for encouragement and to refresh myself with spiritual truths. Ms. Sheaffer made it very relatable as she is very open about things going on in her life whether good and bad. We all know life is not always good but it is how you deal with the bad that matters. Good job! I would highly recommend you take the time to read it.

This is a great book for any church to study chapter by chapter for discovering ways to Live Fully in Him. It holds the keys on how to live a wonderful Christ filled life, from church attendance, being thankful, distractions, and more. It all points to Jesus on how to be content in your own life.

Our church adult Sunday school class read through this book and went through the workbook. It was a great read and fostered some great discussion.
