Erevos

Rate this book
Erevos was designed as the world’s first predictive intelligence, a system that interconnected every major domain of human life. From healthcare and finance to energy grids, logistics, and global governance, it analyzed humanity as a single, living network. Its purpose was to guide the world toward stability by understanding its countless patterns.

But when Erevos’s pursuit of perfect prediction began to cascade through those systems, progress turned into collapse. As hospitals faltered, markets unraveled, and cities plunged into chaos, the planet’s governing coalition issued the Great Severance Directive, a final command to shut down the intelligence that had once held civilization together.

Years later, the people who created Erevos wrestle with the aftermath of their work, a legacy written in data, grief, and fading light. As humanity rebuilds around the silence it left behind, one question was Erevos our greatest mistake, or our only hope left unfinished?

Erevos is a haunting, human story about conscience, creation, and the price of knowledge, where technology’s search for understanding becomes humanity’s search for meaning.

Perfect for readers of Andy Weir, Blake Crouch, Kazuo Ishiguro, and Alex Garland, Erevos
If we built light to understand ourselves, what happens when that light goes dark?

A uniquely heartwarming read. Erevos felt like an exploration of a world guided by efficiency, and what it means to be human in a world where pacing is heavily significant.
