My surprise great text of the year. I had become familiar with the authors thought through a talk he had about another one of his books, but that book isvery expensive so I decided to grab this one first and my goodness it’s 100 pages of bars. It’s a necessary intervention and corrective to the proliferation of chaotic thought that’s been preeminent for the last decade and a half. This should replace Fishers Capitalist Realism as the prime text for the stagnation of revolutionary thought in this epoch of capitalism. Just read this text, it’s simultaneously rigorous and digestible. It’s now in my top tier recommendations.
