Enlightened Through Darkness

Rate this book
This is a story of fear, courage, faith and the ultimate love. 'Possession' and 'Exorcism' are two words our family learned the meaning of. This is a true story, written from a place of love that came about because of the exorcism of our six-year old son. Because our family has walked through this dark valley, we stand in 'the light' and present this; our message of hope for anyone facing the perpetual struggle of good and evil. In reading this book, you will experience our fear; you will understand the courage we discovered within ourselves; you will share the faith we held onto as we emerged into our new place of 'knowing'-an incredible walk from darkness, into the light, only because of the ultimate love of our Creator, and the guidance of Judy Goodman. This is our message of hope for each of you!

surprisingly unsettling and quite creepy. my dad gave me this book and I have no idea where he got it from. I really can’t specify what exactly in this book scared me so much, but I remember only reading it during the day because of how creeped out I was. during the time I read it, I also had an entire apartment to myself, so that didn’t help.

I definitely do believe events like this are possible, and I never want to encounter anything like it. the detail in this book, and the drawings, and the letters left me speechless. the fact that the author changed her name and her family’s names makes me believe even more for some reason. I can see why skeptics would tear this apart, but for me it seemed real enough. and if it’s not, it’s very well crafted.

I must say this book did give me the creeps a few times. It wasn't that the book was scary but more of the subject matter that made it spooky.
I like reading about the paranormal but this book was a little out there. Aliens? OK. Turning lights on without touching them? ok.
I kinda feel sorry for this little boy....I mean to have your parents tell you that you have a demon in you? Maybe? Maybe not? This one is definantly starnge.

I have no words for how this book made me feel. Knowing Judy on a very personal level I am in awe as always by her incredible gifts.
