“Life’s experiences, real and imagined, are contained within these pages, in prose and poetry laced with humour and heartbreak too.” —Kirsty Wark, BAFTA winning journalist, writer, and BBC presenter
What do we do?
We get to know fascinating people on an intimate level. We live with them until we absorb their very souls. Then we torture and sometimes kill them. We're writers.
Why do we do it?
Three years ago we were a diverse group formed through the Arran u3a (University of the Third Age) to explore a common interest in telling the stories that live in our heads. It was cheaper than therapy, so we wrote about what we know. And because we've lived amazing lives, we know a lot. The stories and poems in this anthology reflect what we've taught each other about writing and life.
