I began writing romance with erotic overtones after being bombarded with ideas.
I am married, have two adult aged children and I am retired which gives me plenty of free time to enjoy the things I love most- family, travel, our dogs and writing.
I have five books available, which I hope you enjoy, and another is in the planning.

This book is great. The story line is amazing with a great love story mixed in. This book to me is a love story, drama, and action packed book. Jennifer (the main character) in this book is a very strong woman in so many ways. She goes through so much on her own. Reading about her going from top to the bottom was very sad. When Jennifer and Tate meet each other was my favorite part in the book. I didn't want this book to end. I would love to see this book become a series. I want to see what develops between Jennifer and Tate. If you have any doubts about reading this book don't this book is more than a 5 star book for me. Thank you Lacey Roberts for writing an outstanding book, very classy.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick read that had me hooked from the beginning.
Jennifer is being blackmailed to be a stripper. She is making Vince a lot of money and he isn't going to let her go easily. When she finds out that her parents are dead she doesn't care what happens to her, and she quits the club. When she has lost her accounting job because Vince posted some pictures on the internet, she thinks things couldn't get worse. But they do!
Tate is a police officer who has just lost his sister. He decides to figure out what Jen knows and how she is involved. But can she help him? Do they both get what they want? Or are the secrets to much for them both?
You have to read it to find out...you know you want to

I loved this story and was addicted from the beginning.
Jennifer was a character with many layers who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Circumstances led to her being blackmailed to perform in a strip club along with other girls forced to live this life. A tragedy in her personal life was the turnaround for her. The police became involved in her personal life and one detective in particular who had his own tragedy in connection with the strip club was determined to help her and solve his case. The chemistry between these two characters was hot and a nice balance from the ugliness of her forced lifestyle.
This was a great story from Lacey Roberts and I look forward to reading more. I highly recommend this book.

I loved this book, a little different from what I normally read. But it pulled me in from the beginning. Jennifer's life has thrown her horrible curve ball after curve ball. Being forced into doing things she couldn't dream of she becomes close to Farah they bond over being forced into a horrible life to protect the ones they love and things that matter most to them. Farah was brutally murdered and because of this Tate, Farah's brother was brought into Jennifer's life. Somehow in the midst of Farah's horrible murder Tate and Jennifer are drawn to each other. Tate will do anything to protect Jennifer.

This was the first book that I read by Lacey and I really enjoyed it. The story line was great. I never felt like the book was dragging or that questions were left unanswered. After reading this book I will have to check out more of her books.
Jennifer was experiencing problem after problem and looking for the light at the end of the tunnel while Tate was looking for answers. They end up working together but will either one find what they are looking for???? I guess you'll have to read it to find out.

I am part of the Book Club and was given an arc for an honest review. Check this book out. I'm glad I did.

Jennifer is a young woman with a job out of college. She is captive because of one night that led to Vince having a hold on her and others. Her life takes a downward spiral when a tragic accident happens to her parents. She becomes close with a friend she met who also worked for Vince. Tate is the brother of her friend and he is to get information from Jennifer but they both seem attracted to each other. They work together to solve the case.

WoW! This is a must read. Author Lacey Roberts knows how to pull you in with this story. Jennifer the main Character has had her share of bad luck. When things don't seem like things could get any worse, they do. Luckily for her someone comes in and turns her luck around. This story is well told and has everything you could ask for in a good book. I think we will be seeing a lot more amazing work from Author Lacey Roberts.
