I worked under leadership that felt off for years. Kept thinking I needed to adjust, be more flexible, make it work. This book helped me see I wasn't the problem.
It explains how to recognize when you're bending yourself to fit someone else's idea of what leadership should look like, and why that never works long-term.
Just came out last week, and I wish I'd had it years ago. It would've saved me a lot of time trying to make something fit that never would. Helped me trust my gut about what feels wrong and actually do something about it.
If you've stayed somewhere too long because you kept thinking you should make it work, this will help you see things clearly.
