Maggie Keefe is the author of two silly poetry books for kids, Day Dreaming and One Little Voice. Her passion for silliness and love of children's literature joined forces and erupted upon her retirement. After completing her poetry books, she could feel a chapter book ready to bust out. This uncontrollable urge resulted in I'm Trouble, a heartwarming story of a family of misfit pets with a life lesson in every chapter.
Maggie resides in the northeast kingdom of Vermont for half the year escaping to Sarasota, Florida when the long, cold Vermont winter sets in. What could be better than spending summer in the mountains and winter by the beach AND writing silly, quirky children’s books? She had no idea old age could be this much fun! Four Point Four Stars Fun whimsical cute book. She is brave and does it all, but what to do when there is a Boo-Boo day, not one but five Boo-Boos on five days continuously. Still she is brave and continues with the baid-aid and is determined to have fun and do new things. Lovely whimsical read and beautiful illustrations and meant for older kids. "Charming and empowering, 5 Different Boo-boos: On 5 Different Days is a delightful celebration of childhood courage that reminds young readers that every scrape is a badge of bravery earned through adventure." – NewInBooks
I read the Kindle version, but this is a story meant to be held. The illustrations and fonts are adorable. The story flows so beautifully, it's almost lyrically. Definitely recommend as a fun read with your littles.
