What a cute comfy winter novel. I absolutely loved this book and the whole vibe of the story. If you want a ball of glitter and a grumpy man this book has it. You want banter, spice, and laughs Decked and Frosted has it.
Noelle Mistle is a whole glitter vibe. She is festive, adorable, glittery, fun, and full of life. Cade Frost is a grumpy, handsome, not festive kind of man. He likes to fix broken things and then leave.
The story is romantic, cozy, and sweet. The characters are fun and Lucy Lou Hou adds a spark to it. You want an easy and well written novel Jade D Hart created it in this Christmas vibe, sunshine/grumpy characters, banter, and spicy novel.
This book had a cute rom come vibes to it. It was short and sweet, but to me personally it felt rushed at times. Insta love. A dash of spice. The cover is super cute which is what caught my eye.
This was the perfect way to start out some cozy holiday reading! It was romantic and in Cade’s case “grumpily adorable” 😂! This book would make such a cute little movie or if there’s more which I hope that there is a TV series! My first and definitely not my last read from Jade D. Hart!
I was given the opportunity to read this early with an ARC! My review is honest and voluntary! ⛄️
Oh my goodness. This book was so cute. It was a very quick read, but it honestly didn’t feel like it. It didn’t feel rushed, didn’t feel like major things were skipped to make it shorter, it was a very well written novella. If you like books focused around Christmas, a trapped in a snow storm with Christmas magic type of read, I recommend this one. I hope there’s more to come about the town of Hollysin. ❤️

Decked and Frosted by Jade D. Hart is the perfect one-sitting, spicy Christmas romance novella, and I’m starting off my holiday reading feeling festive and a little jealous 🎅✨. Honestly, I would give anything to live in Hollysin—twinkling lights, nonstop holiday activities, and a town that fully commits to Christmas magic? Yes, please. Noelle is the human embodiment of Christmas joy—warm, bright, and overflowing with holiday cheer—while Cade Frost is the classic frosty, grumpy grouch she is determined to thaw ❄️❤️. When these two are thrown together to work on the town’s Christmas décor projects, the chemistry sparks almost immediately… but things really heat up when they’re stranded together in a cabin during a blizzard 🏔️🔥. And of course, there’s only one way to stay warm… 😉 I loved the witty banter, the perfectly placed spice, and especially the townspeople—because the gossip in Hollysin is top tier. I smiled every time a townsperson popped up with another lovey-dovey hashtag for Noelle and Cade. Everyone was rooting for them, and it made the story even more charming 💕. Add in them finding a beautiful husky together, and honestly? That sealed the deal for me 🐾🎄. My only small critique is that I wish there had been a bit more character development and that a few moments didn’t feel quite so rushed—but for a quick, cozy, spicy holiday read, this novella absolutely delivers. Thank you to the author for such a fun, festive, and steamy way to kick off the Christmas season! 🎄✨📚
This little holiday novella gave me everything I wanted and more. It’s sweet, spicy, and wrapped in the exact amount of Christmas magic that makes you want to curl up with hot cocoa and never move.
I fell in love with the characters almost immediately — the grumpy “fixer” with a cold exterior and the sunshine heroine who still believes in holiday miracles. Their chemistry? Instantly electric. But what really got me was how much heart this story carried in such a short number of pages. It’s cozy, romantic, and surprisingly emotional in all the right ways.
If you love quick holiday romances that warm you from the inside out, this one is a must-read. Jade D. Hart knows how to deliver charm, heat, and a little Christmas sparkle. Perfect for anyone who wants a feel-good escape this season. 🎄✨
ARC review! Huge thank you to Jade for letting me read this holiday spark early! This is my honest review and completely voluntary.
5/5 ⭐️
This story follows Noelle and Jack in the most delightful grumpy x sunshine holiday romance. Noelle is all glitter, glam, and nonstop cheer, while Jack might as well be Jack Frost reincarnated. Their personalities clash in the best way, and their banter? Absolutely top tier. They’re hilarious, flirty, and Lucy Lou Hou completely stole my heart. 🐶
Their chemistry hits from page one and only gets stronger as the story unfolds. If you love small-town holiday rom coms, grumpy blue collar men, sunshine heroines, and a dash of forced proximity, this one deserves a spot on your holiday TBR!
Cade Frost is back in Hollysin, known for fixing things and a grumpy attitude. Then there is Noelle Mistle, all glitter and sunshine, who only makes everything better. A blizzard traps them together and the sparks fly.
Noelle is a lovable hot mess who somehow manages to make chaos charming. Her rescue of a mischievous husky adds humor and heart, and the pup steals more than a few scenes. Cade is the perfect counterbalance: broody, guarded, and impossible not to root for. One of the best parts of this book is watching him soften around Noelle.
This was such a fun read: full of banter, warmth, and snowy small-town charm. If you enjoy grumpy-sunshine with a dash of holiday magic and a four-legged troublemaker, this one will leave you smiling.
Let me start off by saying I absolutely adored this sweet glitter filled short story! Hollysin is definitely a place I wish I could go in real life. The book is filled with banter and some spice plus all the small town drama and vibes you could wish for. The sparks keep flying and so do the witty comebacks.

Decked and Frosted by Jade D. Hart was a quick, cozy Christmas novella packed with sparkle, tinsel, and hot cocoa vibes. Noelle embodies all of that holiday magic, while Cade is your grumpy Bob-the-Builder type, rough around the edges but exactly who she needed. And truly, they needed each other.
The real standout character for me, though, was Lucy Lou Hou, the emotional support husky we all didn’t know we needed. She stole scenes, hearts, and added so much warmth to the story.
Perfect for a festive, feel-good read when you want something short, sweet, and full of holiday warmth. Xo 💋
Christmas puns, filthy language, inappropriate humour and christmas spice
I’m in…
Cade Frost is a grump, and occasionally an a-z. Noelle Mistle is chaos, glitter and all.
Stranded in a blizzard, saving a dog and forced proximity worked its magic. A little angsty at times, with Cade needing to get out of his head. And, unfortunately, a third act break-up, but it resolves quickly.
Throw in a rescue dog, small town chaos and an ensemble of characters that make you want to laugh. This is cute, sweet, funny, spicy and super enjoyable.
It was fun, witty, and sprinkled with so much holiday magic it practically sparkles like tinsel under Christmas lights. Decked & Frosted feels like curling up by the tree with a mug of hot chocolate, extra whipped cream included, and getting swept away by pure festive joy.
Cade and Noelle’s chemistry is everything you want in a Hallmark-style love story, but with the added spice of your favorite romance novel. Their banter is charming and crackles like a cozy fireplace, their connection feels natural, and their romance unfolds in a way that’s both heartwarming and deliciously irresistible.
And let’s not forget the true scene-stealer: Cindy Lou Who, the charming, sassy, know-it-all husky. She adds an extra layer of humor and heart to the story, popping in at just the right moments with personality, attitude, and undeniable main-character energy. Honestly, she deserves her own stocking.
This story is the perfect festive escape; full of charm, warmth, and just enough heat (and glitter) to keep things interesting and make it shine. If you’re looking for a holiday romance that feels magical, playful, and impossible to put down, Decked & Frosted deserves a spot on your seasonal TBR. 🎄✨❤️
If you like a comfy Christmas read with great banter, spice and small towns the this book is for you! Noelle and Cade are two characters that you can relates either to yourself or to someone you know. On one hand you have a grumpy electrician on the other and outgoing glitter loving woman. When their paths cross what you have is a book that you can’t put down! There were parts where I found myself laughing out loud and other parts where I could relate to Noelle. This is a book that you don’t want to miss out on.
Decked and Frosted is sunshine/grumpy perfection. He’s all growl and grump, she’s basically a walking ball of glitter, and together they’re hilarious, flirtatious, and completely addictive to read. The banter had me smiling nonstop, and the chemistry sparks from page one. The small-town charm, adorable Christmas moments, and cozy holiday vibes make this story feel like the perfect warm blanket read. It’s sweet, funny, romantic, and full of festive magic. I absolutely loved it.
Decked and Frosted by Jade Hart was definitely the book I was waiting for to kick my Christmas spirit into gear. Noelle is basically the female version of Clark Griswald. She took holiday decorating to a whole new level and it was hilarious. We have Cade the grumpy electrician/ handyman and Noelle a Tinsel covered Glitter Bomb of Sunshine. If you're looking for some small town holiday cheer and lots of laughs this is defiantly a must read!
What a spicy little holiday novella that instantly put me in the festive spirit. Noelle’s glittery, over-the-top personality had me hooked right away, and Cade’s grumpy, leave-me-alone attitude paired perfectly with her energy. Their dynamic was so entertaining that I couldn’t wait to see what their next interaction would be. Add in an adorable dog, and I flew through this story. I received an early copy and this is my honest review
Decked and Frosted by Jade D. Hart is the perfect one-sitting, spicy Christmas romance novella. Noelle Mistle is a whole glitter vibe. She is festive, adorable, glittery, fun, and full of life. If you want a short, fun Christmas read that’s fast paced, cute, and full of banter between the FMC and MMC, Decked and Frost by Jade D. Hart is the one! The spice level sits at a solid 3, and let me tell you—this story had me chuckling the whole way through. It’s the perfect cozy, witty holiday read to get you in the festive mood. 🎄✨
Ahhh I love Cade and Noelle and how well they complement each other! Noelle made me laugh with her bubbly, over the top, glittery personality and how much she got under grumpy Cades skin lol. I can wait to read the next book in Hollysin’s adventure! Perfect book for this Christmas season.
Decked & Frosted is a grumpy/sunshine, construction work/glitter girl, slow-burn Christmas novella. This book is the perfect blend of chaos and sparkle, evoking laughter, tears, and surprise. It is a welcome addition to my holiday reading list.
I got the opportunity to Arc read this beauty and it is both cute and spicy, a short Christmas novella that left me wanting more of Noelle and Cades story. Perfect quick read for the holiday season. A round of applause for Ms. Hart, can’t wait to see what comes next.
Noelle is so cute and fun! Literally my girl, I love all the sparkles and holiday cheer, add in a Grumpy MMC and hater and I’m easy to please 🤪 this is a cute grumpy/festive sunshine spicy hallmark read.
I received an ARC Ebook copy and all thoughts and opinions are honest and completely my own
Decked & Frosted is the perfect holiday romance—sweet, steamy, and full of festive charm. The banter is sharp, the chemistry is undeniable, and the cozy holiday setting feels magical. It has the perfect balance between heart and heat, with characters you can’t help but root for.
Cute Hallmark Romantic novella with a hint of spice.. it should have never took me this long to read but was fighting a reading slump this month.. definitely wanted more of Noelle and Cade, but it was cute!!
This was cute but I just felt like it was missing something. Maybe it was just wrong time but I had a hard staying focus on it. But it was well written and I did enjoy Noelle and Cade being a grumpy sunshine that was cute. With Noelle being chaos and glitter and Cade being a by the book man.
Cute and poignant. I liked the characters and how they were portrayed and described. I would love a longer version of this with more backstory and character development! I look forward to the next book!
What a fun, cute Christmas love story. This book is a fast read but will leave you wanting to know more about Cade and Noelle. I enjoyed their adventures and will stay tuned to see if there are more adventures in their future.
