I enjoyed this the second time. I loved it even more than I thought I would. I am starting to realize that I cannot read books as a group with everyone. Only my bestie is on the same page with me when it comes to books. That being said others aren’t on our wave length. There is nothing wrong with that at all. I love that Scout and Taylor secretly loved each other the entire time. I am obsessed with this couple and the first time I gave it like 2.5 stars now I am on a solid 4 and I don’t know how I could have given it such a low score. What a treat!!

Taylor is the go to investigator for the law firm Scout works at. He gets shit done.

Scout saw her mother love and lose men her entire childhood, and she doesn't want a repeat of history. She likes Taylor, he's hot and smooth with his words, but he's too easy to fall for. But her bad attitude and questionable decisions don't turn Taylor off, they make yearn for more. So he does what he does best, he stalks.

I liked the beginning of this very short story, but the ending felt rushed.

Scout and Taylor had great chemistry, but I didn't see enough of them just being together to make their love proclamations believable. But, it's definitely a sexy read.
