In a scorched world scraping toward survival, one man unearths an enigmatic, long-buried relic from a forgotten age. As the fragile outpost he’s helped create begins to fracture, he must face a devastating some things were buried for a reason. A dystopian western about loyalty, illusion, and the thin edge between order and ruin.
Holy hell, Razorblade hits like its namesake. This is raw, relentless, and razor-sharp dystopian fiction with a conscience. The pacing never lets up — I burned through it in two nights — but what really hooked me was the emotional complexity of the characters. They’re messy, loyal, furious, grieving — human. Falconeri doesn’t flinch from the violence of collapse or the aching hope that keeps people fighting anyway. If you like your sci-fi dystopia with edge, depth, and just enough intimacy to leave you cracked open, this is a must-read. Fans of Black Mirror and The Book of M will love it.
I won this book through a Goodreads giveaway and I enjoyed it! it's a good mix of dystopian and sci fi and revenge, a fun combination. it is a short story with a twist at the end, which makes me hope the author has some longer books coming out soon!
