DNAlien tells the intriguing story of a top-secret government program that planned to create a new form of life by combining DNA taken from alien bodies with a normal human embryo. His existence is so closely guarded only a few very high-ranking officials (including the President of the United States) are aware of him and the program. Things turn serious however when Gene escapes from the facility and tries to avoid the massive clandestine search for him during the worst terrorist attack on America¿ the days following 9/11! I didn’t know what to expect from this book as soon as I saw its cover but something about it really grabbed me and I didn't hesitate to give it a chance. And that’s what I got, something I didn’t expect. Every assumption I had about the story or hunch about the characters turned out to be wrong. This is due to the great storytelling power of the author; truly, his innate talent can be seen in every single page.
This fictional story is excellently narrated and besides being an exceptional way to kill time, it leaves us with a very powerful teaching and something to reflect on as we read.
