One Last Kiss (The Elder World #3) : A Steamy Fated Mates Romantasy Conclusion

With my mind back intact, danger is approaching from every direction. I’m not sure how much longer we can outrun it.

Xavier, Uri, and my father are chasing us through veils while Darce tries to train me with my light power. Will we be able to hold on to each other this time? How can there be peace in a veil fuelled by hate? Afterlight is saturated with an ancient evil. I’m not sure if our combined powers will be enough to destroy it. It doesn’t matter how much Darce believes in me, I’m not strong enough, I can feel it.

I might have a destiny, but I fear saving Afterlight will cost the one thing I am not willing to sacrifice.

If it comes between my life or his, there is no contest. I would gladly give my life for Darce. The only problem is he feels exactly the same way about saving me. There will be no compromise from either of us.

What if that dooms the both of us?

The thing that made the second one special became very repetitive in this book. This couple loves each other more than any other couple in the history of time and we know that because after thousands of years they are still amorous as ever and even when lives are on the line they have zero self control and can't keep their hands to themselves. I was hoping for teamwork and cleverness combined to overcome the evil regime, but what we got is that they are blessed by everyone because they are so in love and what matters more than anything else is that these two love each other so, so much. Recommended for fans of power couples and spice > plot.

OMG!! One Last Kiss is an amazing Romantasy with prophecies, power and heartbreaking moments. This is a continuation of Alora and Darce’s story with a darker power trying to separate Light and Dark. I love how their story will pull you in and give you all the feels. I love how much they grew from the previous books and how their love never faltered. I love how we get the other characters in the story and see how they work together to help them remember who the real enemy is. I love how protective they both are for each other and when things got out of their control they got the help from their friend and family. I really enjoyed their story and loved how they fought for their HEA.

I voluntarily leave my honest thoughts of this gifted advance reader copy

One Last Kiss was an emotional and action-packed conclusion that kept me invested from beginning to end. With danger closing in from every side and the fate of Afterlight hanging in the balance, the stakes felt higher than ever. I loved seeing the bond between Darce and the heroine tested as they faced impossible choices, and their unwavering devotion to one another added so much heart to the story. The blend of romance, magic, and looming darkness created a compelling atmosphere, while the questions surrounding destiny and sacrifice kept me turning the pages. Filled with emotional moments, powerful relationships, and high-stakes conflict, this was a satisfying installment that left me feeling both hopeful and deeply invested in the characters' journey.

This is book 3 a continuation of the story of Alora and Darce. Alora a Darce are put through test after test through this series and it didnt end in book two, the tests become even more challenging, enough to break a person. But somehow Darce and Alora always make it through. We have Darce getting captured, the rise of an evil unmatched, veil hopping, memory whipping and a huge battle.

What an action packed, all sacrificing ending to this book. This book was packed with action, a huge war, coming into ones powers, sacrificing literally everything for love, defeating an ultamite evil that plagued the world for centuries. This book continues to follow Darce and Alora on their quest (or prophecy) to bring peace and balance to the afterlight (their veil), and the whole universe. These two are ripped apart, go through the most horrific things, and then brought back together to finally face the evil force poisoning their land. There was so many heart wrenching moments that I found myself crying a couple times, because so many people sacrifice so much to follow their destinies and ensure peace is brought to the veil and the world. Alora gets reunited with some old friends along the way, and they couple also makes new friends on their journey as well. But it is there undying, unwavering love and devotion to each other that moved mountains on these pages.

And that note on the end! B.L. Wilde, why did you have to do that to me? Leaving me with The End (maybe)? Will we get more of these characters or more of this beautiful world? Or will we get stories from other characters like for the fire twins? I guess only time will tell whats going to happen next!

This trilogy really said ....what if soulmates were willing to destroy themselves for each other.....and I ate it UP.

This final book had me stressed, emotional, feral, and completely obsessed with Darce all over again.

We pick up with Alora finally having her memories back while danger is literally closing in from every direction. Between ancient evil, veils fueled by hate, shadow powers, destiny, and enemies chasing them across worlds… this book does NOT let you breathe.

And Darce remains one of my favorite shadow daddies because the devotion is INSANE.

This man would burn entire worlds down for Alora and the craziest part is that she’d do the exact same thing for him.

Their relationship in this series genuinely feels epic. Like destiny level, lifetime after lifetime kind of love where they are constantly choosing each other no matter what it costs.

But can we talk about how this author absolutely TORTURED us in the middle of this book because some of those scenes had me internally screaming!

The emotional damage was RUDE.

I loved learning more about the Elders and the history behind everything happening, and the stakes felt so much bigger in this finale.

And thankfully… we DO get the HEA because honestly after everything these two went through.... I would have rioted otherwise.

If you love..... shadow daddy MMCs, fated soulmates, touch-her-and-die devotion, magical veils & ancient evil, emotional romantasy, & I’d sacrifice myself for you energy …this trilogy is absolutely worth bingeing.

Thank you to BL Wilde for the gifted Book. All thoughts are my own.

Confession: If he’s not willing to destroy worlds for her, I don’t want him.

This book gets a 4.5 stars

Where to start. This is the last book in the trilogy... And it didn't let me down... We have our shadow daddy Darce (who is yummy in so many ways), and our FMC Alora. This book ends where book 1 ends but with all the memories of book 2.... Like you can't miss either book 1 or 2 before reading this book as you need to in order to know what is going on.

As the love between Darce and Alora blooms, of course there is something evil in the background. You find more about the history of the Elder's. There is so much I want to say but most things would cause spoilers. I can say that their love can battle anything. We have some really crap things that happen in the middle part of the book that had me screaming internally and wanting to message Bee about her doing that to my Darce.... Like nope..... Not nice and then what happens to both of them had me even more fuming as it progressed. BUT this book ends in a HEA. There would be only 1 thing that would make me even more satisfied but in the prolong, it kinda started to talk about it. IYKYK.

So if you want a true shadow daddy who can do some amazing things with his shadows, a love that will last through the years (like literally), some interesting history and a HEA, this is your book.

Thank you to the author for providing me with a copy as I absolutely loved this trilogy

DARCE. GOT. HIS. POV.

That's it. That's the review.

...okay fine, more.

One Last Kiss is a damn near perfect conclusion to The Elder World. The yearning is unreal. The sacrifice (over and over and over) wrecked me. B.L.'s prose has always shone, but this book? It glitters. It cuts. It made me cry, laugh, cackle, and sigh.

Was it flawless? No. The Silverlight challenge scene didn't fully land for me, and Alora's whiplash devotion to Xavier had me confused more than once.

But it has been five days since I finished, and I cannot stop thinking about Darce. About Alora. About that ending and what Bee left unresolved.

A reread is in my immediate future.

If you've made it this far in the series, buckle up. It's worth every page. 🖤📖♾️

what the heck!!!

this was a crazy journey..i cried and laughed and then cried some more.

darce and alora are everything and more. their love for each other is pure and obsessive and so full of passion.

they go through so much this story…like all these years wasn’t enough, now this!?! the hurt and anguish i felt for them during those moments.

the lore, the world building, the backstories. it added so much to the story. even with book 2, and given all of alora’s memories, this book added so much to the whole world. the magic. the history.

it was so rich in detail. you can vividly picture these veils and worlds they describe.

also the ending….wow. i need more of drace and alora please. like i need to see how their life is married and happy and just living in bliss.

Arc read 🤍🖤

Wow just wow this woman really knows how to give me whiplash with her books! Literally 😅
Alora & Darce what can I actually say my mind is blown with how good this series has been I have loved every minute of being stuck in the elder world 🤍🖤

As this author knows my love for Darce is so deep that I have laughed at his sarcastic comments to Alora and I also cried which never happens for me reading 🙄😫😫 I don’t want to say too much as I don’t want to spoil the experience for anyone else. Darce and Alora’s story really does go through all the emotions and I’m excited to see what this author has up her sleeve next 🙄😅😅

Wow, just wow! One Last Kiss by B.L. Wilde, the third book in The Elder World Series, is a real page-turner.

This book has everything I love:

* Angst that's almost painful
* A protective, obsessive, and swoon-worthy MMC
* A headstrong FMC who's just as obsessed
* Scorching hot spice
* so much banter
* Action and drama that'll keep you on the edge of your seat

It took me on such an emotional rollercoaster. There were moments that were infuriating, heartbreaking, heartwarming and utterly swoon-worthy. If you're looking for a book that will wreck you in the best possible way, this is it!

This is the third and final book in the Elder series. Book 1 was the FMC in earth, learning that she is not what she seemed. Book 2 revolved around the history of the two MMC’s in the afterlight veil. Book 3 was the culmination, the fight of good vs evil, of the intertwining of darkness and light, of love conquering evil. I must say though, that I loved Darce, the MMC, so much more than Alora, the FMC. He was selfless in his love for her. He taught her how to live and laugh and love and fight. He held her hand and guided her to become the person she needed to be to defeat the evils attempting to destroy their people.

So sad it’s finally all over!!!!
And his was a whirlwind of an ending though! There were times I was on the edge of my seat wanting to scream, I had to put the book down and just simmer at one point. I had such a great time reading each of these books. Truly a highlight of my reading journey lately!
Thank you so much B.L. Wilde for this amazing trilogy!!!! I love and related so much with Alora from the very beginning. I loved her journey. And omg do we love Darce, there’s nothing more to say 5star man.

🚨 A R C - R E V I E W 🚨

I genuinely didn’t think I could love Alora & Darce any more than I already did… and yet here I am, completely obsessed all over again. This book has EVERYTHING - love, heartbreak, betrayal, and plenty of spice 👀🔥. The world-building? Incredible. The character growth? Even better. B.L. Wilde absolutely nailed this series. So grateful I got to be an ARC reader for all three books, and I’m already counting down for whatever she gives us next!

So much happened in this book… I’m having a hard time putting all my feelings into words. 🥹🥹🥹 This series has so many wonderful characters, moments, and emotions. I am not ready to say goodbye to these characters. As for many final books in trilogies there was a lot of action and dramatic parts, which I totally loved. I will be thinking about this series for a very long time. I’m excited to read more from this author in the future!

"I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.” One Last Kiss is a beautiful story where Alora and Darce must navigate intense external dangers while mastering light power training. As they are pursued across veils by Xavier, Uri, and Alora’s father, the overarching threat of an ancient evil in Afterlight tests the limits of their combined abilities. The core conflict hinges on a powerful, mutual willingness to make the ultimate sacrifice, creating an uncompromising emotional tension that threatens to doom them both.
A beautiful 3 th book off this series. I loved and adored all of them. A must read. 💛

What an absolutely amazing way to end this series. I’m just blown away with how good this was. The world building was phenomenal. And the description 🤯. This immediately pulled me into their world. Through all the chaos, moments, emotions and more. It was just wonderful. I’m so sad that it’s ending, but so beautifully done.

One Last Kiss Review

Oh wow, this was a brilliant, devastating, beautiful end to the series! I don’t think I’ve cried so much for a book as I did for this one. Their love for each other really bleeds through in this story and it’s so emotional.
The story starts directly after the end of Book 2 where Alora gets her memories back, and we revert to the present day perspective again. What follows is an epic action packed adventure to hide Alora from her father and betrothed while she trains to get a handle on her new powers. It all seems for naught when they are caught and ripped apart, tortured and made to experience awful things that would break a normal person. Yet their love for each other is what gets them through. So much and so many sacrifices are made to ensure that the prophecy comes to fruition so that the Afterlight veil and universe can know peace as it should have been.
It is a rollercoaster of action, passion (these two literally cannot get enough of each other), heartbreak, obsession, moments of levity, Alora’s sarcasm and Darce’s… just Darce, and unapologetically so.
The underlying message for me through this whole series has been… love is timeless, and in this story it truly was.
This story was riveting as the series conclusion and had me captured in its pages from start to finish!

This book shattered me, put me back together and then proceeded to shatter me again. Ms. Wilde, even with all of that, I want more. We are back with Darce and Alora. Darce is still diligently training Alora and trying to spend as much time with her as possible. They know the prophecy and what will happen in the end. Alora's father was still looking for her to force her to bond with Xavier. Darce and Alora are hopping veils to stay ahead of Zohar and Xavier. Most of this book is just that. Darce and Alora getting ready for the battle ahead. They do finally get more information. Information that most Dylins and Noxlins don't know.

This book goes back to Lustre and Solace. The beginning of everything. There are definitely some surprises. There are definitely some things that are going to be hard to read. Darce and Alora go through a lot to be together. Readers will not know until the very end if the prophecy will come true. This book had my heart in my throat. This was a great ending to this series. Ms. Wilde gives readers a full series with a complete ending. I do not feel like I need more to make the series complete. Needing more and wanting more are two different things. Ms. Wilde will always have me as a fan.

I really enjoyed the first 2 books of the series because of the different type of magic and was looking forward to seeing how it would end, but unfortunately this one fell a little flat for me. I kept hoping that the story would move forward a little faster, but if you’re a fan of more spice over story, then this one may be for you.
