This is a fascinating story of Winnipeg's growth and architectural history. My only criticisms are that the author failed to mention the proliferation of the distinctly domed Ukrainian churches (highest # per capita of any North American city) and in highlighting the influence of modernism, they excluded the Winnipeg Clinic, the original Canada Life Building and the Kildonan Park Pavilion (also designed by Ten Architectural Group).
