A man in a mask keeps appearing in my dreams. Sounds like the beginning of a psychological thriller. And while I thought I left all the drama in my dark past, and have since focused on moving on, the truth is, those dreams have awakened a side of me I didn’t know existed—a kinky side. And soon, my diary entries are filled with sexy fantasies.
My brain implodes when, one night, I’m saved by a real man in a white mask. And that man turns out to be Ezra—the latest addition to the family.
My intelligence is above average, but even I never would’ve guessed he wanted me badly enough to stalk me. After all, we’ve barely spoken since we met.
I should be horrified and wary, simply because most of my family doesn’t trust him. The reason behind it isn't his psychopathy—that’s kind of a family trait. Nor his job—assassination is not very far from vigilante justice. The problem is his reluctance to share his past and his ties with the murderous maniac, Nine, who is after us all.
But Ezra’s stoicism and the intensity and dominance he exudes send an electric thrill down my spine every single time. I can’t resist. I have zero experience in how to…proceed. But it looks like he knows exactly how to make my hot desires come true.
In the midst of all the new excitement, I’m still fighting with my past demons, while Nine is upping her dangerous game. Will we get through this battle unscathed? I can’t seem to foresee a happy ending.
Not for all of the Angels of Wrath.
WARNING-This is not a sci-fi angel story, unless you see eager vigilantes with a dark, merciless side as angels. This is an action-packed, dark-themed romance with an HEA. It features a virgin college student, an introvert, fighting with his dark past and an obsessed, touch-him-and-die, stoic psychopathic assassin. Stalking—by a masked man—and invasion of privacy are both present. Sexy fantasy kink with a little of role play. A side character suffering chronic illness, violence, gore, remorseless torture (only of very bad people), dark humor, a band of foster brothers ready to help. Morality’s grey area is quite stretched in this story.
Please check the more detailed triggers at the beginning of the book before reading.
This is book six and the last in the Angels of Wrath Series. Each book follows a different couple and would be more enjoyable if read in order since recurring characters keep appearing.
I can't remember a time when I wasn't reading a book. Whether it was sci-fi, romance or a detective story didn't matter, because it was the perfect way to escape from reality for a little while. When I wasn't reading, I was imagining my own stories, and after a while I started writing them, hoping to give other people that little escape I still enjoy so much.
My books are full of dark humor, spicy kinky scenes, possessive, obsessed, protective MCs and always have happy endings.
I live in Japan with my two kids and my stinky, super cute Frenchie.

The only thing I’m truly sad about is that this absolutely insane series is over 😭 It’s one of those bookish families you feel a part of and don’t want to leave. They’re all so ridiculously unhinged, and I adore every single one of them. It’s that very specific kind of chaos that should be too much, but fits perfectly within the vibe of these books.
Sully and Ezra are just perfect for each other 🥰 The chemistry is top tier. I am not sure of why Ezra had to hold back for so long, but then again, I don’t really care, that unhinged stalker energy was incredible, I enjoyed every second of it 🖤 This man may not be capable of love in the traditional sense, but he still manages to be more sweet, caring, and attentive than most men who are. And Sully turned out to be a very naughty little surprise 🙃
I also loved how much of my favourite Lori we got in this one, he remains the perfect mix of chaotic and hilarious, and now I want to go back and reread Five 😅 “This feels like one of those crazy Masonic gatherings. Are we going to drink our mixed bloods now?”
A perfect conclusion to an epic, chaotic an unforgettable series 🖤
Where do I start? One eye on Sully and Ezra (Eight) is obsessed, mine, mine!
Sully had a hard past, with an abusive father. He’s still a sweet fragile guy, clumsy (watch this throughout the story lol). He keeps a diary, and all his secret kinky thoughts are in it. Secret ha! Nothing about Sully is secret to Ezra, he keeps an eye on him 24/7. He knows everything written in Sully’s diary. He marks Sully’s things.
“Romantic love comes and goes, a psycho’s obsession lasts forever.”
Ezra is a psychopath, it took Meg and Linda (the adoptive parents) a while to find him. Sully is quite over his head about Ezra, the guy is twice his size, beautiful and when he discovered what Ezra’s doing to keep Sully safe, he’s completely gone for him. No one ever wanted Sully, and now no one will get the opportunity, because Ezra is a fucking walking protector. Obsessed and possessive with Sully. No one will harm him, everrr.
There’s also a Nine. Nine is a threat, who wants to destroy all the others, starting with Sully.
Yes, the author delivered it again. Ezra was a great personage; his obsession and protectiveness were wonderful to follow. Together they are super duper hot. He made Sully’s dream come true. The story is at times silly and chaotic, with all the brothers and partners. Awesomeness! The last lines gave me goosebumps.
I can't believe this series has ended 😭 I loved most of the book, unfortunately I wasn't so much invested in the main relationship in this book - which sucked, because I was looking forward to it. And because Ezra wasn't involved so much with the family, made me miss the group chats so much. I did however liked the plot and how it ended. Can't wait for the spin-offs!
The ending was perfect, as was how Nine/Phoenix was taken down. Every main character in the book - the brothers and their men - was part of making it happen. Nobody was left out.
Sully and Ezra's relationship was about as sane as all the others, meaning not so much. You have to suspend belief a lot with this series, which was fine for me.
As much as it pains me to admit it, I liked Uri a lot in this one. Not so much in his own book, but definitely in his twin's.
I've grumbled a lot about all the !!!! and the crazy length of these books. I'm glad I kept going, even when I almost DNFd it several times. The 400-plus pages in Eight were necessary. There was a lot that had to be resolved from previous books. I never felt that it dragged at all.
I'm really really looking forward to the triplets' books. I hope Clover is in the mix somewhere.
Great ending to the series.

Who knew what a deviant little thing he'd turn out to be. I'm still feeling after the ending of Seven+Four but being the glutton for punishment I am I went straight into Eight. It was the perfect finale to an epic series but also sad there's no more and i am so excited for the triplets books . This also reminded me who got me into Dixon Dallas I can't remember which book exactly maybe it was Rague and Ollie.
I really enjoyed the book, something was missing, I just don't know what it was. So I give it more of a 4.5 star read
I am so excited that the triplets are getting a spin-off series. And am hoping that Brad will be Ren's guy. I really want Sully's bestie to get a happy ending, if he isn't went Ren, I hope it's with one of the triplets. i'm sad that this series is over but that will still be getting more stories in this world.
I love this family, I love how these men are so obsessed with their boys. Ezra and Sully have charmed me 😍 I'll miss them so much 🥹❤️ I'll be waiting for the spin-off
Eight delivers everything I’ve come to expect from this series—spice, found family, sharp banter, and just the right amount of chaos. And can we talk about the cameos?? Seeing all the previous Angels and their partners again felt like coming home.
But let’s be real—the highlight was finally getting into Eight’s head. The man is obsessed, and watching that slow, intense fixation on Sully unfold? Yeah… I was locked in. And Sully? Oh, there’s so much more to him than the soft, sweet exterior everyone sees. This book really peels back those layers, and I loved every second of it.
I’m genuinely sad this series is ending, but honestly? It went out on such a high.
Sully and Ezra just work. The balance between them is everything. Sully might come across as gentle and innocent, but he’s also strong, perceptive, and way more… let’s say interesting than people give him credit for (Ezra definitely knows 👀). And Ezra? He might not love in the way the world expects, but the way he shows up for Sully? It’s his version of love—and it’s so good.
The little moments really got me too. Ezra creating a safe space for Sully, helping him heal and move forward, while Sully quietly becomes the one person Ezra starts putting before himself. And don’t even get me started on the domestic touches—taking him on dates, helping with the hamsters, remembering his favourite things?? Stop. That was so soft.
This was the perfect mix of intensity, emotion, and sweetness—and such a satisfying ending to the series.
This is a Dark Romance with an Assassin/Vigilante MC so there is unaliving...This also involves an MC that has PTSD after a traumatic event so please check those TWs before heading into it. Now this is also the 6th and Final Book in the Angels of Wrath Series you absolutely need to read them I'm order you cannot just skip to this one.
🌶🌶🌶🌶
So I was a little nervous heading into this and not knowing what to expect. Sometimes with final books it feels like everything is just jammed in there trying to wrap stuff up...NOT THIS BOOK! This was perfect! From beginning to end just perfection, and though the story revolved around Ezra and Sully every single person in the family played a part here. This was an absolute amazing ending to this series! I honestly could not have asked for more or anything better. There were also doors opened for the spin offs that will be happening that I'm extremely excited for! So you know what they say....It's not really goodbye...🥹
Sully is Oliver's brother who we originally meet in book 2. After everything he went through in that books it's been a rough road for Sully but he is off on his own in College...well he thinks he is alone...Ezra has been not so subtly watching (St@lking) him and keeping him safe. After something on campus happens though Ezra is forced from the shadows and Sully is more relieved then angry. Sully feels safe for the first time in along time but that safety is shaken again when Nine (the bad guy) comes back full force. The whole family has to settle in and come up with a plan that will finally stop Nine. Ok that's where I stop because I don't want to spoil anything, but if you have been as invested and following this series as closely as I have then you will be as happy as I was with the final battle. I again can't commend Paulina enough for this ending. It just felt right! like you closed that final page and just felt complete 🥹🥰
I had only listened to “One” as an audiobook before, but I was still able to follow and enjoy Eight, the final book in the Angels of Wrath series.
What to Expect:
🩸Assassin x College Student 🩸Psychopath 🩸Masked Man 🩸Stalking 🩸Fantasy Kink 🩸Virgin MC 🩸OTT Obsessed MC 🩸Spice 🩸Dangerous Enemy 🩸Overprotective Family
Review
Eight is the story of Ezra and Sully. Ever since he was saved from a collapsing scaffold by a masked man, Sully has been having highly erotic dreams. In these dreams, the young virgin is dominated by a masked man. Outside of his dreams, he is captivated by Ezra. The stoic newest member of the brotherhood exudes an intensity and dominance that makes Sully tremble with every encounter.
Ezra is a psychopath who doesn’t really feel love, but his absolute obsession with Sully surpasses anything he has ever experienced.
It takes a while for them to get there, but when it happens, sparks fly. The closer Ezra gets to Sully, the more Sully becomes the focus of Nine, the story’s villain.
Eight is an extremely gripping story, and I love the romance. The thriller element involving the hunt for the Brotherhood’s enemy is exceptionally well written. I couldn’t put the book down until the breathtaking peak of the chase and the well-deserved HEA that followed.
What I especially love about the book are the unique side characters—I absolutely must read their stories next.
"Why do you want to fit in when you were born to be mine?" . . All good things must come to an end, and I must admit I will miss the "Angels". Eight is the last installment following Ezra and Sully's relationship. Not to mention the inevitable confrontation with "Nine" and Meg's current situation.
As always, Paulina has crafted a story with spice, found family, witty banter, and a surplus of action. Your favorite previous Angels and their respective partners make plenty of cameos as well. For me, it was exciting to learn more about the elusive Eight and watch his obsession with Sully-Do unfurl. Also, there's way more to Sully than meets the eye, and "Eight" reveals the many facets of his character.
Another thing I loved was how Ian-Kane opened the door to potential spinoffs. She so masterfully introduced potential new MMC's as we close the chapter on our Angels. For example, The Triplets, Brad, Clover, and the ultra mysterious "hitman organization" Ezra was apart of in Boston. Can you say.."hello Vulture". As always, Kane left me intrigued about what's next.
Lastly, as we wrapped up (the epilogue), I loved seeing how the family had grown. Also, seeing some of our favs take the next step in their relationships. My only critique would be the sporadic ending (pertaining to Meg) and my wish that we had gotten more from that.
Nevertheless, Paulina hit all the marks for me in the Angels of Wrath series.

Eight is the last book in the Angels of Wrath series! This is about Ezra, Uriel’s estranged twin brother, and Sully, Ollie’s clumsy little brother. Sully has been trying to live his life and not livein fear. He finally moved out of his brother’s place and is at college. He still has PTSD from when he was kidnapped and brutally beaten (reference Six) and is trying to live more. He has a whole family of serial killers looking out for him, constantly checking in on him. Once, a car almost hit him and he is saved by this man in a mask. Sully starts having dreams about this man and has this constantly feeling the of being watched. He also has this lame one sided crush on Ezra (Azriel), who barely acknowledges his existence. Ezra is a psychopath. He was with the scientists that tortured him for longer than his brother but he was able to escape and is now a Hitman. He was being attacked by another subject, Nine, who wanted him dead. He fakes his death and tracks Nine to Chicago and decides to team up with his twin brother and “the family” to take her down. He meets Sully and all his psychopathic obsession has shifted to him. He is told by Ollie, Sully’s brother, to back off while Sully heals and he does… but not from a big distance. He stalks the hell out of him, breaking into his room, watching him from the tree outside, placing cameras around and even cloning his phone. After another attack, he saves Sully and decides to stop wasting time and makes his intentions known.
Seriously, loved this book and this couple! The spice hit just right and their dynamic made me nostalgic for Michael and Raphael! I loved more windows into all the couples and getting small sneaks into the spin offs that will inevitably be coming! This was such a fun series to read/listen! I’m sad it’s over but I know the next books will be a balm!
Sully keeps dreaming of a masked man, and the dreams awaken unexpected sexual fantasies. He’s then saved in real life by Ezra—new to his family—who turns out to be connected to a dangerous killer named Nine. Despite family distrust and his own unresolved past, Ezra’s intense dominance pulls Sully in as Nine escalates the threat, leaving them unsure whether they’ll survive or ever get a happy ending.
This story is packed with danger, drama, and raw emotion—and I especially loved Eight’s obsession with Sully, which is his version of love. There’s an undeniable pull between them that feels intense, inevitable, and impossible to ignore. The plot keeps the tension high while pulling in all the numbered men and their partners, making the whole series feel connected and alive. I also really enjoyed the twists and turns that built toward the end, and the way the story wraps up with a satisfying ending that feels right for the series. A highly addictive read with plenty of heat, suspense, and heart. This was an MM story with mature content.
** Please take note of the trigger warnings and be kind to yourself.
Thank you Paulina Ian Kane for a copy of this book. This review is entirely my own.
The epic conclusion to The Angels of Wrath is here and it was both exhilarating and heartbreaking. I fell in love with these characters and dreaded the end. Only because I did not want to say good bye.
This book is Sully and Ezra's book and when I say it was epic I mean it was EPIC! Sully is at college trying to move on from the brutal attack that was set up by his father. Ezra is the assassin that wants to claim him but is keeping his distance, watching Sully and keeping him safe, for now. When Sully is attacked and someone is trying to kidnap, Ezra steps in and Sully realizes the mask man that he has been dreaming about is real and from that moment, there is nothing to stop Ezra from claiming Sully.
This book is exciting, exhilarating and drags you deeper into this world. From start to finish, you are a very willing prisoner to the words and picture this author creates. We get to see all the brothers and their partners. We get to see Sully find his angel who would go to the very depths of hell for him and do it with nothing but his bow and arrows and a smirk. We see Ezra find someone that sees him and loves the person his is. Sully would go to the depths of hell for Ezra as well, tripping as he goes but he would do it. The chemistry between these two was on fire. The conclusion for these brothers was satisfying and the best way to end the series.
I’m sad to see this series end but it definitely went out on a higher note. I had a great time with Sully and Ezra! These two definitely complimented each other. As much as Sully comes off as sweet and innocent to most he is stronger, wiser and a lot more kinkier than anyone gives him credit for except for Ezra. Ezra knows! I really enjoyed seeing these two come together. Ezra gave Sully the feeling of safety he needed while working through his trauma and figuring out how to move forward while Sully gave Ezra a reason to think about someone else besides himself. He doesn’t know how to love in a the way society deems correct but with Sully he had his own version that worked for them which led to sweet moments such as Ezra taking Sully on a date, helping him with the hamsters and keeping his favorite things stocked around the house. Cute!
The found family in this series is great and I’m excited for what’s next in this world!
Favorite quote: "Romantic love comes and goes, a psycho’s obsession lasts forever.”
I am so sad that this is the end of this series!! This is my favorite MM series to date, the absolute chokehold it has me in is insane and Eight is no different!
Ezra is his own brand of psycho! While similiar to own resident psychopath, Raphael, Ezra is able to offer a "softer" side for Sully! Don't get me wrong, he is still obsessive and possessive and crosses every normal boundary line there is, BUT he also is sweet with Sully!
We also get the plot from the overall story line that spans the series! Finally seeing all that come to a head was so satisfying!
I look forward to the spinoff series coming with the triplets! and maybe Brad?!
Second favorite quote:
“Beauty and death can coexist in the same place. Just like the ocean, those shiny waters can easily suck you in deep.”
*Sigh* What can I say? This was an amazing ending to the story of our little experiments. Seeing Sully heal was amazing and Eight was the perfect match for him. I loved every moment of them. Also, go Sully and your fantasies, so proud. The only thing that keeps this from being a 5 star is unfortunately the ending. It was just to quick for me. I wanted more for the end of nine and as much as I really liked their ending I didn't love it. It didn't take away from the story AT ALL and I will be rereading this multiple times in the coming months, I already know it. I cried at the end because as much as I know I can go back to these guys, and I know they aren't fully gone it was really sad to say goodbye to them. Overall I highly recommend, it's worth every word written.
Love this booooookkkkkk!!!!!! Actually correction I love this series!!!!!!! Ugh sad that’s it come to an end but loved this journey. I have been waiting for Sullys book and this didn’t disappoint. I love his pairing with Ezra. He was his perfect person. I know some probably were sad about Sully not being with Brad, I too wanted them together in the beginning but after everything Sully has been through he needs his masked man. And Brad needs someone morally gray as well 👀 wink wink. I love how obsessed Ezra is with Sully and how no one and I mean no one will come between them. I will say that my one negative is that I feel like the Nine situation got resolved fairly quickly even though this has been the huge probably throughout this series. Like seriously a favorite candy is her undoing. Anyways I still love this book and I’m glad Sully got his happy ending.

This story will blow you away, this is the last in this series and the overall arc of the storyline was written beautifully, so this book focuses on Ezra (Eight) and Sully. These two were a couple that I did not know I needed..
Ezra is the perfect psychopath and he has set his sight on Sully who is suffering from past trauma. These two were just perfect for each other. I love how intense their relationship is and how it was written with care.
I loved how everyone came together to fight/end their common enemy. The detail to the plot was excellent. Mostly I enjoyed watching Sully and how Ezra gave him the perfect amount of strength he needed.
"When he’s meek like this, a slut for it, he makes me want to corrupt him, eat him all up, consume him."
This book does not hold back when it comes to kink, especially between our virgin MC Sully and his completely unhinged assassin, Eight. Their story kicks off exactly how you’d expect from someone like Eight: stalking, obsession, and that dangerous intensity we’ve come to associate with him, only this time, he might be even more unhinged than his brothers.
As the romance unfolds, so does the larger plot threading through the entire series, pulling us deeper into the mystery of the facilities and what really happened after Eight escaped. We also finally see all the brothers and their partners come together, rounding out the overarching finale in a powerful way.
We get more insight into the triplets and the protective family dynamic they’ve built around Sully, which adds so much heart beneath all the chaos. My only wish is that the ending had been a bit longer, I needed more from that epilogue.
Still, this finale delivered everything: action, spice, and pure emotional intensity from start to finish.
I can’t believe this is the end of the series! I have been in love with every single book and this was no exception! What a joy this was to read.
Sully, after a horrible upbringing and a traumatic kidnapping is trying to take control of his life back after hiding away. But he is a bit of a klutz and keeps being saved by a masked man - who he should be afraid of but all it does is light a spark in him.
Ezra, the elusive number 8, Uriel’s twin, the man in the mask. He knows Sully is his but promised to wait to pursue him till Sully is 21.. but after Sully is attacked again he won’t wait any longer to claims what’s his.
Oh my word.. where to I even begin. Miss Ian-Kane you have taken this world of yours and have made it into a remarkable story. The way I cried in the end. And THE SMUTT 🥵🥵 when I say obsessed with this book I MEAN IT. From the plot to how much Sully really poured into Ezra and vice versa! Everything about this book is outstanding. ( p.s. I need more of those dirty scenes in your next projects because my oh my they were phenomenal. I loveeeee.) Can’t wait to read your next project! Will forever love our boys and hopefully we’ll see them in the mafia babes series.
Im not sure if I want to cry right now. Thos series has ended. While I reallllllllly wanted the triplets to have their own book, Paulina dropped the teaser of their own spin off!!!
Back to Ezra amd Sully, How unbelievably adorable they were. Sullys innocence, Ezras overprotectiveness, Rens teasin of Ezra. As a way to end a series I loved it. Think Nine deserved worse that she got. Its my only critism, The scenes beyween Sully and Ezra were definately not safe for work reading.... but so worth the sneeky 5 mins break. I honestly didnt want this series to end. It 100% gonna be my reread series
The series end wrapped up beautifully, and Ezra and Sully formed a relationship that I didn’t know I needed.
Ezra who is a psychopath sets his sights on trauma-scarred Sully, and their intense, carefully written relationship just works. It makes sense, but catches you off guard as Sully had my heart since Ollie book and I thought would be with Brad and I so happy to be wrong.
I loved seeing everyone unite against their common enemy, but most of all, watching Ezra give Sully exactly the strength he needed made this story unforgettable.
What a perfect way to end an unforgettable series. Eight was the perfect send off to say goodbye to this unhinged, chaotic, endearing, family.
Sully and Ezra had me in a chokehold. Their story and chemistry was top tier. SULLY, my deviant, chaos monster. He has my whole heart. I devoured this book. I especially loved the interactions between the brothers and the glimpses into the other couples. Another amazing read.
High-key hoping for a spin-off. I'm not ready to say goodbye to this universe.
Ezra (eight) and Sully's story. After meeting Sully once, Ezra becomes obsessed and starts stalking him. But Sully isn't too upset about it. After being attacked by a fellow student, Ezra makes his presence known and claims Sully. This story is the conclusion of the overarching plot and their relationship develops while the plot progresses. This book had a delightfully possessive, slightly more black than grey morally grey main character. This was pretty spicy as well. Overall an enjoyable read. Spice level: 3.5
I didn't really like this one, but it gets 4 stars because thats a ME problem not the author problem. The book is beautifully written, but I built up an Ezra in my head that doesn't exist and it's not PIK's fault she can't compete with that.
I loved the ending, though. It's exactly the pack bonding I wanted for Ezra <3 And honestly, it's the exact everything I've come to love (and expect :P) from this series!! AND I got to end the book with a Suri moment. PIK spoils me.
This will go down as one of my favorite series ever. I was hesitant to start because of similarities to the Necessary Evil series and I wasn't sure it would live up. But it's just different enough to stand on its own. While no one will ever beat Miphael as my favorite couple, Sully and Ezra are a close second. This book has all the obsession and possessiveness you've come to expect from the series and some of the best spicy scenes so far!
This was the last book in the series and did not disappoint. Ezra was a fucking delight and while Sully’s naivety got on my nerves sometimes I did like seeing him come into his own later in the book. I’m pretty excited for the spinoff series, I liked the triplets and it’ll be fun to see them again (and hopefully have some sausage fest cameos).
The final book in the series and this full of the answers that we so desperately needed and is best read in order of series. Ezra has imprinted on Sully and is doing what he does best, stalking him to keep an eye on him while he deals with the Nine situation even as he tries to navigate his way with the whole family. When the danger ramps up, Ezra knows it’s time to claim Sully as his own.
There are sweet moments in this plot, kinky one’s too, action and danger and the conclusion that leaves you satisfied with this series. Also, loved how we get teased with a spin off series as well. Can’t recommend this series enough.
