I wish I had found this book when I went to London several years ago, but I have this book now for any future trips. This book covers the expected tourist sites, like Buckingham Palace, the Tower, and the Tate. But, there are also chapters devoted to attractions off the beaten path or more niche favorites. There is a chapter on things to do after dark for more adult type trips. Each section explains what the attraction is, what there is to do or see, who might find it interesting, cost, etc. The author presents all the need to know info in a way that is enjoyable and easy to read.
There are over 109 sites in London and half of them are free! Learn where the freebies are and how to navigate the tourist crowd. The author suggests stores that are popular for shopping and those that are good for travelers wanting to avoid crowds. Be in the know with this book.
I have always wanted to go to Paris but for now I can only afford to read about Paris . It is such a beautiful place this book gives a lot of tips to people that are going for the first time with different things you should see and do on your trip while there to make it the best experience ever.
