Earth after World War III. Rebuilding after the destruction has given rise to various vices. Are the Disposers the manifestation of peoples' desires to combat these vices? Kaede the Disposer and those around him; conspiracy; manipulation. And destiny's key opens...
Literally could not follow this. It's like... a few mysterious fire-related murders happen, punctuated by flashbacks and the characters alluding to things, instead of those same things happening in the moment. The art style is also such that I can't really tell the characters apart beyond "pale-haired man, pale-haired woman, dark-haired man, dark-haired woman" and if there are more than one of any of those—sucks to be me, I guess! It's not even that long for me to ALREADY be lost by the story!
I'd try harder to follow along, but there barely seems to be a book 2, and I'm honestly not that interested in bothering to find it. Pass.
