The world was once lush and green. Then the monsters came and the plants started dying. On her own this whole time, Rainbow has finally found her sister, Jonna, after a year of searching. The preternaturally strong and tough Jonna's been surviving just fine in the wild without Rainbow, but will the seemingly feral Jonna remember her sister?
The first issue was a nice, if empty, start. I let pass the vacant storytelling with hope clarity emerged here. This issue proves the first was unneeded, as this issue, basically, has the same story. What is going on is still left out.
You have 25 pages to tell a story. Beginning. Middle. End. To fulfill the promise of a sale, that is what should be delivered. If I was buying this, issue -to-issue, I'd stop now. My Cat Curiosity has me venturing into a 3rd issues.
Appears, at this point, this never should have been separate issues. A one volume effort of how-ever-may pages.
Lousy story telling. The illustration work is well done.
Bottom line: I don't recommend this book. 4 out of ten points.
