Imam Omar Suleiman is the Founder and President of the Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research, and an Adjunct Professor of Islamic Studies in the Graduate Liberal Studies Program at SMU (Southern Methodist University). He is also the Resident Scholar at Valley Ranch Islamic Center and Co-Chair Emeritus of Faith Forward Dallas at Thanks-Giving Square.

A really astonishing book, with engaging details and stories. It is an account of the life in the grave, prior to the Day of Judgement, where we’ll spend a lot of our time post departure from this world. It brings to life the vividness of the unseen realm through accounts of dreams, visions, hadiths, scholarly analysis, and Qur’anic verses.

I found it easy to read, and quite thought provoking.

This book is just amazing! Something that we should all read at least once. The reality of this life is death, but many, many people live on this earth forgetting about this reality.
We have busied ourselves in worldly matters, instead of preparing for the life of barzakh.
