MARÍA, LA MADRE DE JESÚS

Rate this book

False

This book is so wrong on so many accounts. It always amazes me when a person has questions about their religion that they go outside to find truth in someone who has no knowledge of their religion. This author, as she says in her own words, was a Catholic and should have already had knowledge of Mary’s role in the Catholic Church. If not, she should have sought help from inside the church for understanding. Then, if she chooses, find another religion, but don’t spread falsehoods. Catholics don’t worship statues.

Interesting Read

Ferrell's conclusions are bound to be controversial, so I'll try not to base my review on her opinions. The book is well organized, but not particularly well written. At first, I gave her a pass because English isn't her first language, but all she needed was a decent editor. In addition, I read the book on Kindle and the conversion to electronic format was sloppy. Font sizes change and figure captions are frequently on the page following the image.

Her scholarship seems to be sound, at least based on her credentials. I do wonder, considering that she seems to have the Catholic Church in her sights, that she never actually addresses Catholic teaching about Mary. The book seems to me to be incomplete and insufficient to draw such adamant conclusions.

This book is an eye opener

This book is a great read the more younger you want to know what comes next. I think it is a crucial read to all those who follow that piece of rock. May all come to the knowledge of Christ and be set free from idolatry

To know the real Mary the Mother of Jesus

I had not ever thought that there is anyone but the real Mary the Mother of Jesus. I have learned from this book that Satan wants us to believe in him through a false Mary. Definitely read this book.

Regardless of your religious beliefs, don't miss this book!

I enjoyed this well written book. I learned a lot and it answered questions that I have had for years. It is definitely a world builder, but more importantly it is a kingdom builder.

Steps closer

Any book to bring us closer to the Lord is a five star. Interesting read on false Mary and falling into that realm

Informative

I never understood why people have worshipped Mary. This book clearly related satan's deception and cleverly thought out plan to keep people from seeking Jesus ...and His sacrifice for our sins.
